MATTHEW 28 

CHAPTER XXVIII.

The resurrection of Christ. His commission to his disciples.

1 And *in the end of the sabbath, when it began to dawn towards the first day of the week,

18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. 
19 *Going, therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; 
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

"Consummation of the world," - the end of this age of grace and the beginning of the eternal ages with Christ reigning visibly. This is the end of the eschaton and the beginning of the eternal recreated heavens and the earth and will begin when Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ returns from heaven in the same flesh He rose with and ascended into the third heaven with, seated at the right hand of the Father. His return will be with all of His elect angels. He will raise and judge all men in the flesh and then recreate the heavens and the earth, which in that state will last that way for eternity. There will NOT be any sin in the new heavens and earth, so prepare now by confessing the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and be baptized as commanded above and shown how to baptize below and live Holy and Godly lives in sincerity and humility and meekness waiting for the Lord when He returns so that we are not like the five foolish virgins but are like the five wise virgins.

Method of Baptism

From the Didache (49 A.D. Council of Jerusalem):

Chapter 7. Concerning Baptism. 

And concerning baptism, baptize this way: Having first said all these things, baptize the one to be baptized into Jesus Christ in "the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," in running water. But if you have no running water, baptize into other water [still water]; and if you cannot do so in cold water, do so in warm. But if you have neither, pour out water three times upon the head onto the one to be baptized saying at that time "in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." But before the baptism, if possible, let the baptizer fast, and the baptized, and whoever else can; but you shall order the baptized [when there is time] to fast one or two days before.

Baptism can and should always be performed immediately when there is danger of death of the one to be baptized. For instance, impending martyrdom or possible death causing illness.

There is no other way. If it isn't done, shear destruction is the only future that the Holy Land will have. The faithful should leave at once and let the apostates sit there to be destroyed.

Ver. 14. Bear not the yoke together with unbelievers. He does not mean, that they must wholly avoid their company, which could not be done, but not to have too intimate a friendship with them, not to marry with them, to avoid their vices. Be ye separate . . . touch not the unclean thing. He does not speak of meats, clean and unclean, according to the law of Moses, nor of legal uncleannesses, but what is sinful under the new law of Christ, and would defile the soul, as idolatry, fornication, &c. Wi.

Ver. 15. Such as have cast off the yoke of God are called children of Belial. John viii. 44. Belial, in its radical signification, means without yoke. V.

Ver. 16. The apostle here blames the too great affection the Corinthians had for the Gentiles, who sometimes invited them to their religious feasts, at which were eaten meats which had been offered to idols, and which gave scandal both to the Christians and Gentiles. To draw them from these feasts he tells them, that they are the temples of the Holy Spirit, and that consequently they ought not to make themselves the temples of devils, by eating of the sacrifices of devils. Calmet. — S. Paul, in this and the foregoing verses, clearly shews that the faithful ought not to frequent, on any account, the tabernacles of those who have left the Church, i.e. the true faith such as those calling themselves the Novus Ordo or in other words, the New Order or New Sect - the New Church, for there is NO such thing; the Vatican II apostasy and all the antipopes thereof and their minions - John xxiii, Paul vi, John Paul i, John Paul ii, Benedict xvi and any other to come after them, we may have NOTHING to do with on pain of penalty of eternal damnation by the Just and True and Righteous and HOLY GOD. In the old law, Moses was ordered to command the ancients of Israel, on the part of God, to depart from the tents of those wicked men, lest they be involved in their sins. Numb. xvi. 27.

   It is become increasingly clear that the Palestinians are only pawns to be used by any number of interests. All the Jews who had any conscience at all in Occupied Palestine, whether Sabras (born there) or not, started leaving in the 1980's. The obvious solution is for all Palestinian people to simply leave and go anywhere else. In about six months to 4 years when the world looks back in at what Occupied Palestine looks like when there are only the Jews and PNA left there for that length of time, what we will probably find is only rubble to be cleared and bodies to be buried. Cancer always finally destroys itself. I am quite serious, in preaching to the multitudes about the destruction of Jerusalem, which He foretold, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ warned them to flee and not be there when the end came. The Christians listened and fled to Pella (East of the Jordan River) when Jerusalem fell and NONE of the Christians were harmed. The Perfidious and always bloody Jews where utterly destroyed by the Roman General Titus in 70 A.D. Jesus Christ speaking. Matthew 24:15 When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand. 16 Then they that are in Judea, let them flee to the mountains: 17 And he that is on the housetop, let him not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 And he that is in the field, let him not go back to take his coat. 19 And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days. 20 But pray that your flight be not in the winter, or on the sabbath. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray -

Mt:6:9-13:9 ¶ Thus therefore shall you pray: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our supersubstantial bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. Amen. (DRV)

Not only did Our Lord Jesus Christ teach us to pray that we be delivered from evil (the evil one and all of it's minions), but He gave us power over the evil spirits.

Lk:9:1:1 ¶ Then calling together the twelve apostles, he gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases. (DRV)

The Apostles following Our Lord Jesus Christ's teaching, taught us to have nothing to do with idolatry and sorcery and magic (which is what the verse below refers to) which is the demons and devils and practices of paganism.

Acts:15:29:
29 That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication: from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well. (DRV)
The risen Jesus Christ prophesies of those who will not turn from the demons and devils and practices of paganism.

Rv:9:21:
21 Neither did they penance from their murders nor from their sorceries nor from their fornication nor from their thefts. (DRV)

We are to have nothing to do with the demons and devils and practices of paganism - and those who are part of that for they have chosen eternal death (damnation) for themselves.

2Cor:2:14-17:14 Now thanks be to God, who always maketh us to triumph in Christ Jesus and manifesteth the odour of his knowledge by us in every place.
15 For we are the good odour of Christ unto God, in them that are saved and in them that perish.

Instead we are to remain apart from the demons and devils and practices of paganism and those who are part of that.

Since we have been delivered from the power of darkness -

Our first rank of prayer is against evil and the evil powers so that we remain apart from the infidelity of paganism and others are delivered therefrom into the kingdom of Our Only Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. For Our Lord Jesus Christ lives and teaches us that there is no communion of the kingdom of God and paganism, nor can there ever be.

Jn:1:5:
5 ¶ And the light shineth in darkness: and the darkness did not comprehend it. (DRV)

Therefore by the power of the Cross of Christ (Jn:3:14) we Pray Against Evil and those who chose to be part of that and the wrath of God remains on them -

Jn:3:14-21,36:
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.
16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world: but that the world may be saved by him.
18 He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the judgment: Because the light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their works were evil.
20 For every one that doth evil hateth the light and cometh not to the light, that his works may not be reproved.

The early Church did the same, they Prayed Against Evil and the practitioners thereof, and the Church has always done this. From the Liturgy of St. Mark:

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas promised several times that he would change the shameless laws protecting perpetrators of “honor killings”. But this did not happen. Abbas has backtracked on his promises. Today Dec. 25 2012, Ma’an News Agencyreported that Abbas “has no plans to outlaw honor killings”.

The Palestinians believe that the reason for the high numbers of “honor killings” has to do with the policies of the Palestinian Authority and the exploitation of the women who work in its institutions, women who are abused sexually by superiors and co-workers, putting their lives in big danger due to the tradition of “honor killings” in traditional Palestinian society.

In the West Bank and Gaza there are no laws that forbid women from being murdered or prosecute their murderers. The Palestinian Authority applies the Jordanian Penal Code in the West Bank towns. The Jordanian law is considered as a discriminatory law, it reduces the penalty for the murderer when he perpetrates his crime under the pretext of “issues of honor”. 
 “Honor” has become a justification for murdering women and protecting the murderers, as well keeping the power in the hands of the men who lead the society and impeding women from reaching power. This is a clear threat for all women who seek equality with men in their rights.

The statement of Abbas’ legal adviser published by Maan Agency about “honor killings” compounds the inhumanity of how women are dealt with in Palestine by law. Women are seen as being no better than herd animals and in the best circumstances. Women are often enough treated like minors and “crooked ribs” (in reference to the biblical passage whereby women were created from one of Adam’s ribs) even after they become adults and marry.

While denigrating women and lessening our position in Palestinian society in this way, Abbas has found enough time to pass decrees and laws of questionable legitimacy to protect himself and his cronies from prosecution for varied crimes.

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) – President Mahmoud Abbas has no plans to amend laws that reduce sentences for suspects who claim an “honor” defense for murdering women, his legal adviser says.

“Why change it? This would cause serious problems,” Hassan al-Ouri told Ma’an, adding that such a reform would “not benefit women.”

In May 2011, the president pledged to amend the law to guarantee maximum penalties for “honor killing” in response to protests over the killing of university student Aya Baradiya in Hebron.

The decision was announced in a phone call to a primetime show on state TV, drawing tears among crowds of mourners shown in a live link-up from the Ramallah studio to Baradiya’s hometown.

Abbas suspended Article 340, which offers a pardon for murder if the perpetrator committed the crime on finding his wife in bed with another man.

The reform was cosmetic: Article 340 had never been used in Palestinian courts since it was legislated in 1960.

“So why did we change the law? To garner public opinion,” al-Ouri said in an interview in the presidential compound in Ramallah.

“I, personally, was against the amendment because the crimes that happen in the street have no relevance to Article 340,” the legal adviser added.

Al-Ouri says the president will not change the go-to clauses for lawyers seeking leniency for clients who claim they committed murder to defend family “honor.”

Articles 97 to 100 of the Jordanian Penal Code, in force in the West Bank, still offer reduced sentences for any act of battery or murder committed in a “state of rage.”

“The (law) only addresses 1 percent of the problem. What we need is a new culture,” al-Ouri said.

Other officials insist the penal code is the problem.

The law “privileges the killer,” Interior Ministry official Haitham Arrar told Ma’an.

“It encourages some people to commit crimes against women, which will go (as far as) killing them,” said Arrar, who heads the ministry’s democracy and human rights unit.

Abbas fears ‘conservative forces’

The Palestinian Legislative Council has not met since 2007, when Hamas and Fatah split, but women’s rights expert Soraida Hussein dismisses arguments that reforms must wait until parliament reconvenes.

“For us, for women, all this is irrelevant,” said Hussein, general director of theWomen’s Technical Affairs Committee, an umbrella group of women’s organizations. “Until now, our lives — in law and in practice — are seen as less than men’s.”

The president should issue a decree that “anybody killing anyone else will be sentenced to the highest sentence possible, whether it is a woman or a boy,” says Hussein.

“The minute the law is changed and applied, the minute people will think twice,” she says. “It’s simple and it’s not done.”

Hussein suggests Abbas is hesitant to pass legal reforms because “he is not ready yet to confront conservative forces.”

In 2009, Abbas ratified the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, but al-Ouri, the legal adviser, says it will only be implemented “so long as it doesn’t contravene Islamic code.”

“Look, we are for total equality but if there is a basic tenet of Islamic code that we would be forced to change under CEDAW, then people would revolt and brand us as non-believers,” al-Ouri said.

‘Dressing up honor’

Lax laws encourage murder suspects to claim “honor” in their defense, officials and women’s rights activists say.

“Because the penalty is one or two months, they consider killing her and dress it up as honor,” Minister of Women’s Affairs Rahiba Diab told Ma’an.

Khawla al-Azraq, who runs a women’s counseling center in Bethlehem, notes that femicide is a global issue but “now in Palestine, they call this honor killing.”

“Sometimes these girls are abused by someone in the family and they need to cover this (up) and they kill her; sometimes because they need her money,” she says. “These are the real reasons for killing.”

“In Palestine, this is the gap, that until now we don’t have our own legislation that really can protect women.”

The Independent Commission of Human Rights says 13 women have been killed this year, but the real figure is likely to be higher.

“There has been historically a problem of documentation,” says Hussein, the women’s rights expert. The cause of suspicious deaths of women was often recorded as “fate,” which could refer to forced “suicides” or being pushed from a building, she explained.

Despite repeated requests since September, the Ministry of Interior did not provide Ma’an with the official number of women whose deaths were recorded as “fate” in 2012.

This year, the New Year’s Trail in Vienna includes 12 locations with a spectacular programme to suit all tastes and ages
fireworks. It is for the 23rd time this year that the City of Vienna has organised a spectacular programme to suit all tastes and ages. There are many different ways to spend the last night of the year in an unforgettable way on Vienna’s New Year’s Trail.

The programme features 12 locations and stages, a large number of artists, a varied children’s programme and many food and drink stands along the New Year’s Trail. Starting at 2 pm the Vienna city centre will be turned into one big party zone with high-quality entertainment and a programme for all musical tastes including waltz as well as samba and rock.

Visitors can expect a special children’s programme, performances by Austrian pop musicians such as Julian le Play, Coshiva and GuGabriel, a live broadcast of “The Bat” by Johann Strauss from the Vienna State Opera, walk-in waltzing lessons, fireworks, and for the first time a New Year’s countdown with a spectacular vertical bike stunt, a karaoke show and lots of musical entertainment. Another highlight is the live broadcast from Musikverein of the New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic in front of the Vienna State Opera in the morning of 1 January 2013.

Christian Oxonitsch, member of the Vienna City Government, emphasises that the Vienna New Year’s Trail is one of Europe’s largest New Year’s Eve events and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from Austria and abroad each year. At the same time, it is also an important factor for Vienna’s image and economy. Starting into the New Year with culinary delights

Good food and drinks form an integral part of the Vienna New Year’s Trail: some 60 caterers provide the visitors with hot punch and culinary delights such as baked potatoes, grilled sausages and other typical Austrian snacks.

The drink stands in the square in front of St. Stephen’s Cathedral and on Graben start serving sparkling wine at 11 am on 31 December, and the first 200 guests are invited to a free glass to get into the New Year’s spirit early.
Programme

On Rathausplatz, the square in front of Vienna City Hall, the party starts at 2 pm with the Kings & Queens, rock’n roll by the Radio Wien Band and smart folk rock soul in the style of the 1960s and 1970s performed by the FreeMenSingers. A DJ from Radio Wien and the band Topmixx also make sure the crowd gets in the mood for dancing. The New Year’s market on 1 January 2013 on Rathausplatz invites all visitors to get into the spirit for the New Year. The 2013 New Year’s Concert at Musikverein by the Vienna Philharmonic and “The Bat” from the Vienna State Opera are broadcast live on Rathausplatz.

In Löwelstraße, BJK Music and 98.3 Superfly play plenty of soul music as well as funk, jazz, disco, Latin and electronic music from 2 pm. Austrian DJs and live bands entertain the visitors of the New Year’s Trail throughout the night. Live performances by Monsieur Smoab, Gianna Charles, Lylit and Ramon are followed by a live show by The Superfly Radio Orchestra around midnight, which is yet another highlight.

The children’s programme that takes place on Freyung entertains the young guests of the New Year’s Trail: the okidoki New Year’s party with Christina Karnicnik and Robert Steiner starts at 2 pm. From 7 pm the air at Freyung will be filled with Latin American music by Cuba Libre, Los Gitanos and Oye Como Va.

Am Hof, DJ Phillip Kofler gets the crowd in the right mood for New Year’s Eve already in the afternoon. Cool acts will perform live on stage from 5 pm: Coshiva, GuGabriel and Julian le Play as well as DelaDap and DJ Rene Rodrigezz. Towards midnight, the Ö3 New Year’s Party featuring Sylvia Graf and DJ Alex List culminates in a dance performance.

Classical music is the focus on Graben, which turns into a vast outdoor ballroom. Visitors can waltz and dance into the New Year under the spectacular Christmas lights in the form of chandeliers on Graben. If you’re still looking for lucky charms to give to family and friends on New Year’s Eve you should pay a visit to the stand of the Austrian Mint (Münze Österreich) on Graben.

Join the popular walk-in waltzing lessons from 2 pm on Stephansplatz, the square in front of St Stephen’s Cathedral, for last-minute tuition by professional dance instructors. From 7 pm, the Kaiserwalzer ensemble performs traditional Viennese folk songs, operetta highlights and takes you to the world of musicals. They are followed by Kaiserjäger (“The Emperor’s Huntsmen”), a brass music group in historical uniforms. The renowned Blue Danube waltz at midnight is followed by a performance by the all-female ensemble Rondo Vienna.

Kärntner Straße combines funk & soul with pop & rock. Two DJ areas are just what you need to keep warm in the last night of the year.

The radio Arabella karaoke show and the 2012 radio Arabella charts entertain the whole family at Neuer Markt from 7.30 pm. At 8 pm Greg Bannis, former Hot Chocolate front man, warms the hearts of the visitors with his performance. The rock band Wiener Wahnsinn provides the perfect mix of Austrian pop music, rock and international hits from 10 pm, followed by Radio Arabella DJ Roman Gerner.

At Haus der Musik, Vienna’s sound museum, admission is free from 2 pm to 10 pm on 31 December. A video projection of the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic performing in the Golden Concert Hall of Wiener Musikverein allows guests to find out what it is like to be a conductor. You can also discover the history of the New Year’s concert at the museum of the Vienna Philharmonic.

One of the major highlights of the evening is the free live broadcast of “The Bat” by Johann Strauss on Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz, in front of the Vienna State Opera at 7 pm. The programme, however, already starts at 2 pm with a medley of the best opera and ballet scenes.

On Heldenplatz the New Year starts with a spectacular fireworks display. A vertical cyclist is this year’s highlight, who cycles up a 60m long rope to start the countdown to 2013, which will be the “year of cyclists” in Vienna. At the same time, “Le Grand Bal” takes place in the elegant atmosphere of the staterooms at the Imperial Palace on Heldenplatz.

2nd district
The extension of the New Year’s Trail in Prater has a particularly colourful programme. A great atmosphere is guaranteed when the Kings & Queens perform songs by Barry White, Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson on the square in front of the Giant Ferris Wheel. They are followed by a performance by a Dixieland band and the nine-member band Sappalot. Music will also be an integral part of the city’s most splendid fireworks display marking the start of the New Year in Prater.
