The Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, Mary and John and the women at the foot of the Cross

Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour, there was darkness over all the earth, until the ninth hour.

Origen tell us this darkness was only in Palestine, and the neighbouring countries: for as to the words, over the whole earth, or over the whole land, we find one kingdom or empire, by a common way of speaking, called the whole earth, or the whole world. As to the cause of the obscuration of the sun; and secondly, as to the extent of its darkness. Origen tells us that the darkness was partial, and confined to Judea and the neighbouring countries, as the darkness of Egypt was only perceived in that country, and not in Gessen, where the children of Israel were. Saint Jerome tells us that the obscurity was caused by the rays of the sun being suddenly withdrawn by divine power, as was the case in Egypt. The darkness in Egypt during the Passover of Moses was due to God's protection withdrawn from that land at that time. The darkness when Christ was Crucified for us is the judgement of God upon His Son Jesus Christ, in our place. For Jesus Christ knew NO sin. He never sinned, nor could He ever.

The meaning of the Pasch of Christians.

The Book of Wisdom, Chapter 17, describes the devils and demons thrown back upon the Egyptians when the Israelites under Moses were brought out of Egypt by God for God’s purposes (to prepare a place for the Crucifixion of Our Lord for the Redemption of the whole world of those who are saved). In the same way the same false gods and goddesses that the Egyptians served and which in so doing were the reason the Egyptians sacrificed their sons and daughters to the devils and demons behind the false gods/goddesses were the spirits that killed the Egyptian children that perished when the Israelites were brought out of Egypt. God does not murder children, period. The angel of death which destroyed in Egypt was one of the fallen spirits. God did not cause any of the fallen spirits to hurt anyone. God allowed the fallen spirits to do what it is their nature do to when He brought the Israelites out of the gates of hell which was Egypt. The children below the age of reason that died went to be with God for eternity, they will be resurrected with the just at the Second Coming of Christ. This principle of God allowing the innocent to be afflicted along with guilty finds its ultimate fulfillment in Christ’s singular and only salvific Kenosis. Jesus Christ committed no sin, not ever nor could He, and was and is and only could be utterly and absolutely and completely innocent of any and all wrongdoing and sin by His very nature as the Holy and True God. The guiltless sacrificed by His own will for the guilty. Even when the innocent are afflicted by the actions and evils instigated by the fallen spirits in the world, the innocent are not possessed by those fallen spirits. The principle of all being afflicted by the evil set loose upon the world for its unrepentant sin will occur when the universal plagues are let loose upon the world. See Apocalypse 16 –

The principle of our always, for our part, protecting children is given us by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 18

1 At *that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who, thinkest thou, is the greater in the kingdom of heaven?

2 *And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them,

3 And said: Amen I say unto you, *unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

10 Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, *that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

The principle of our ONLY worshipping the True God, the Father and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is given first in the historical truth of the Garden of Eden when Christ, who is the Tree of Life commands the first man and his wife, Adam and Eve to not have anything to do with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which is Satan, the first fallen angel, nor with any of the fallen angels with Satan. Assisi of Babylon/Vatican/Rome is absolute and complete violation of that principle and is the Great Apostasy in full blown Satanic evil. Have nothing to do with the Vatican or suffer its eternal damnation in hell with it. The devil and demon worshipping pagans and the perfidious deicidal Jews are not ever any part of the Salvific action of Christ upon Golgotha/Calvary. Individual pagans and Jews if they repent of their not confessing Jesus Christ as the Immortal Son of God become flesh for our sake and sacrificed for our salvation and who confess publicly their sin of devil and demon worshipping and perfidy and deicide and who beg the Lord of all, the Lord God, the Father and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for forgiveness of their horrid and abominable sins, can and will be forgiven if they do so now in this life and will enter into the only path of salvation there is as dictated by God Himself. The Church, all the faithful – there is no other meaning acceptable to God for the word Church, is commanded by God to not have anything to do with the Apostasy.

Book of Wisdom, Chapter 17

1 For thy judgments, O Lord, are great, and thy words cannot be expressed: therefore undisciplined souls have erred.

2 For while the wicked thought to be able to have dominion over the holy nation, they themselves being fettered with the bonds of darkness, and a long night, shut up in their houses, lay there exiled from the eternal providence.

3 And while they thought to lie hid in their obscure sins, they were scattered under a dark veil of forgetfulness, being horribly afraid and troubled with exceeding great astonishment.

4 For neither did the den that held them, keep them from fear: for noises coming down troubled them, and sad visions appearing to them, affrighted them.

5 And no power of fire could give them light, neither could the bright flames of the stars enlighten that horrible night.

6 But there appeared to them a sudden fire, very dreadful: and being struck with the fear of that face, which was not seen, they thought the things which they saw to be worse:

12 And while there is less expectation from within, the greater doth it count the ignorance of that cause which bringeth the torment.

13 But they that during that night, in which nothing could be done, and which came upon them from the lowest and deepest hell, slept the same sleep.

14 Were sometimes molested with the fear of monsters, sometimes fainted away, their soul failing them: for a sudden and unlooked for fear was come upon them.

19 For the whole world was enlightened with a clear light, and none were hindered in their labours.

20 But over them only was spread a heavy night, an image of that darkness which was to come upon them. But they were to themselves more grievous than the darkness.

Israel Has Journalists in its Sights as Gaza Strikes Kill Three

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) today accused the Israeli Defence Forces of waging war on journalists in Gaza. The Federation was reacting to yesterday’s strikes which killed three journalists who were traveling in their cars, with press signs, in two separates incidents in Gaza city.
“This latest deadly attack targeting journalists is clear evidence that the Israeli military has declared war on journalists in Gaza,” said Jim Boumelha, IFJ President. “There can be no more lame excuses from the Israeli Air Force that it was targeting its enemy’s communications. The army which claims its strikes are surgically precise must have known there were journalists in this car and it should be accountable for what appears to amount to a war crime.”
Media reports say that Mahmoud Al-Komi, cameraman for Al-Aqsa TV and his colleague Hossam Salameh were killed when their car  was hit by an Israeli missile near the Ashifa hospital. The two were reportedly on their way to the hospital where victims of the Israeli attacks were being treated. In a separate incident , another journalist, Muhammad Abu Aisha who was the director of al-Quds Educational radio, was also killed in his car.
In the meanwhile, journalists in Gaza have reported more attacks on media offices and hotels where journalists are staying. The AFP offices in Gaza were among media facilities which were hit, along with Deira and Beach hotels.

The Israeli Defence Forces have warned journalists in a tweet to stay away from Hamas facilities whom they accuse of using media as a human shield. But the IFJ says that the warning should be given ahead of any attack to allow for evacuation of civilians, including journalists.
“The intimidation of journalists has turned into an open war through the Israeli Defence Forces’ practice of shooting first and warning later,” added Boumelha. This is reckless and highly irresponsible and we are urging the world community to investigate potential breaches of international humanitarian law.”
The IFJ is examing options for an urgent mission to Gaza to investigate the targeting and killing of journalists.

Call for Protection of the Journalists on the Freedom Flotilla

The Palestinian Journalist Syndicate PJS and the International Federation of Journalists IFJ call for to the protection of the journalists participating on the Freedom Flotilla of the humanitarian aid-carrying ships, which were stormed and stopped by the Israeli war criminals. The Israelis have threatened to confiscate the films with which the Journalists documented the Israeli piracy act and the massacre perpetrated by their military boats and helicopters against civilians, killing at least twenty and wounding dozens.

The PJS directed letters to the international Journalists Unions demanding condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli massacre, and asked them to intervene to protect journalists who are victims of the Israeli oppression and crimes.

The PJS stated that the assault on journalists, peace activists and volunteers is an international crime of racism which should be denounced by the whole world. The world should break the silence on these violations and expose the policies of the racist extremists, the Israeli right-wing zionists and their crimes, which confirms the continued violation of international laws and legal precepts.

The PJS greeted and expressed its solidarity with all the satellite TV crews and the journalists from all newspapers of Arab and foreign media participating in the humanitarian flotilla, noting that their solidarity is respected by our nation and raises our morale while we suffer under the continued crimes, violations of humanity, indecency, and siege of the Israeli occupation.

On the other hand the International Federation of Palestinian journalists expressed its shock about the Israeli crime and said that there are journalists among the in a statement: “The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) today reacted with shock at the news of the brutal attacks on civilians, including journalists, by Israeli forces in the assault on a flotilla that yesterday tried to breach the military blockade of the Gaza coastline in Palestine.

The IFJ said that reports of casualties – including possible deaths of media staff – were unconfirmed and a curtain of secrecy drawn around the incident by the Israeli authorities was increasing anxiety among friends and relatives. The IFJ is calling for an urgent and comprehensive international investigation into the incident and for the information blackout to be lifted.

“We join the European Union in demanding a full inquiry which must be independent in order to be credible. We condemn any attempt at the blackout and censorship of news by the Israeli authorities which is hindering journalists from giving an accurate account of what is happening,” said Jim Boumelha, IFJ President.

The IFJ believes that 20 journalists and media staff from a number of different countries were on board when the attacks took place, according to Aidan White, IFJ General Secretary. He said the IFJ is fully investigating the incident and plans to raise the issue at a special meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council planned for Geneva on Wednesday. The IFJ is also writing today to the Israeli government warning them about their responsibility vis-à-vis the security of the journalists on the flotilla and is asking its member union in Israel to take the matter up with the authorities.

“The international community must respond immediately to this outrage,” said White. “The rights of journalists in conflict zones have been particularly highlighted by the United Nations and members states cannot stand by when one state acts in a reckless and dangerous manner.”

Notably, Al-Jazeera announced the names of their detainees on the Freedom Flotilla ship: Abbas Nasir, Osman Al-Betiary, Mohamed Fall, Ali Sabri, Andre Khalil, Jamal Al-Shayal, Essam Zaatar, Wasemah Ben Saleh. Al-Jazeera demanded that Israel release it’s journalists and cameramen and all the detainee journalists

Israel Lost the Journalist Elections in Cadiz

Israel lost, and Palestine and Iraq won the elections of the Executive Committee (advisors) of the International Federation of Journalists, which took place on Friday 28 May 2010 at the end of the World Congress of the IFJ, “Journalism in Touch with the Future” held in Cadiz, Spain.

The failure of Israel came as a result of them perpetrating horrific crimes against Palestinian journalists and the bad treatment which the foreign journalists receive at the hands of Daniel Seaman (Danny Seaman), the director of the Israeli government press office (GPO). The images of the murder of Palestinian journalist Fadel Shana, the cameraman for Reuters who was killed on April 16 2008 by an Israeli tank shell while he was in the performance of his journalistic duties in Gaza was mentioned during the IFJ World Congress and created huge anger against Israel.

During the IFJ Congress, Abed Al-Naser Al-Najjar, the PJS General Secretary, highlighted the demand to bring to trial before the International Court of Justice the criminal Israeli officials. His demand was met with huge sympathy and warmly applauded by the attendant delegations of journalists.

Al-Najjar commented on his winning the membership of the Executive Committee of the IFJ, saying that this will strengthen the relations with International journalists unions around the world and that it will help to expose the policies, procedures and the horrific crimes of the Israeli occupation against Palestinian journalists.

Al-Najjar credited the election victory of Palestine and Iraq as members of the Executive Committee of the IFJ primarily to the friendly efforts of the President of the Journalists Association in the UAE and the President of the Advisory Board of the Arab Group at the International Federation of Journalists, Mohammed Yusuf, who coordinated and mobilized support with the African journalists Group, the American Latin Group and the European Unions of Journalists.

He thanked expressed his gratitude to the deputy president of journalists Ibrahim Nafie, the president of the Federation of Arab Journalists for his efforts in which he raised the level of coordination between various Arab journalists unions, which allowed them to contribute towards this great result of a Palestine victory. Al-Najjar considered the victory of Palestine and the loss of Israel in the IFJ election during the World Congress in Spain as a success of the Palestinian journalist’s delegation and the exposition of the real face of Israeli crimes against the Palestinians and the Palestinian Journalists. He dedicated this victory to the martyrs among the Palestinian journalists, and especially to Fadel Shana, the victim of the Palestinian journalism of 2008.

Al-Najjar also thanked the Spanish government and the Spanish people for their support of the Palestinian people. It should be noted that the Spanish government has published on its official Facebook page a report which included the intervention of the Palestinian Journalists Delegation at the World Journalists Congress in Cadiz.

Female Journalists Discriminated in Palestine

Below is a protest letter against the discrimination of the Women Journalists in the elections of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) held on Feb. 6 2010 in Ramallah under the Intervention of Tawfiq Al-Tirawi, the former Chief of the Palestinian intelligence in the PA. The letter was signed by the Editors and Founders of Women Journalists and Conflict Magazine in the Mediterranean XIDPIC.CAT-XIPVG in Barcelona.

We, the undersigned, express our deep concern about the ignorance of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate council (PJS) to the rights of the Palestinian Journalists women to be register as members of the PJS, to run for elections under equal rights with the male journalists. We absolutely support the female journalists rights, and the demands which they stated during a demo in Gaza, and we consider the ignorance of the female journalist’s demands as a violation of their basic rights.

We see that the intervention of the Palestinian security and politicians in the PJS elections and their support only for male journalists was not justified and constitutes discrimination against women and a violation of their rights.

We demand that the PJS adopts statutes declaring the equality between female and male journalists, and that the elections are repeated on the basis of legal grounds and the affirmed equality between journalists of both genders, and without intervention from the PA politicians and security organs.

NGO Network Call for Postponing the PJS Elections

Feb. 4 2010 – A court belonging to the illegal Hamas government decided today, Thursday, Feb. 3 2010,

to suspend the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) elections which were slated for Friday Feb. 5 2010. The Court claimed that the postponement is due lawsuits which were filed against the PJS. According to legal sources in Gaza Supreme Court of the Hamas government, they stated that the court decided to suspend the PJS elections after several groups of journalist filed complaints against the PJS, which had refused to register new journalists as members.

Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinian journalists in Gaza protested yesterday against the illegal procedures adopted by the PJS Council, which refused the inclusion of new members in the PJS on political grounds.

For its part, the Palestinian NGO Network launched an initiative to find a compromise to resolve the dispute surrounding the PJS elections. The NGO initiative requires postponing the elections for a maximum period of two months, and the elections to be conducted after this period in accordance with the rules which had been enacted for the PJS elections in 1999. During the postponing period of the two months, a selection of a professional committee must work on the examination of the old PJS memberships and the acceptation of new members.

The former board member of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate rejected Friday’s scheduled elections as illegitimate. Zakaria AL-Telmes stated that “no agreement was arranged between the syndicate’s board concerning the announcement that the vote would take place on 5 February.”

He added that “board members have traditionally signed the minutes at a special meeting for approving the date, but it didn’t happen.”
Al-Telmes said that not only are journalists unaware of the candidates for the leading Palestinian press union’s top body, “the board members themselves don’t even know, in most cases, who the other members of the board are.” He urged the union’s leadership to come to an agreement before elections.

Al-Telmes stated that a political group which is not interested in the legal, moral or value system of Journalism is behind the PJS elections.

As part of the controversy over the elections of the PJS, a protest statement signed by independent journalists, among them independent women journalists, the Southern Media Forum, the Democratic Gathering Journalists, the Palestinian Journalists Gathering and the Palestinian Media Forum. In their protest statement, these journalists threatened to bring a court case against the PJS for committing violations of the law which threaten the fairness of the elections of the PJS.

The statement demanded that new journalists be granted membership in PJS. The statement also called for supervision of the elections by an independent commission, so that they be conducted in accordance with the principle of proportional representation, and they also demanded the allocation of a quota for women journalists in the administrative council of the PJS and its committees. The statement called for depolitization of the PJS and to draft a new statute which should be discussed and approved by the general assembly of the syndicate.

Meanwhile, Abed Allah Siam, the secretary of the central office of Fatah, called all journalists, and in particular the Fatah-affiliated journalists, to participate in Friday national elections for the PJS, which will hold its conference in the Al-Bireh hall park, formerly called the Selim Effendi hall to select the members of the new PJS council.
