Israeli Soldier Burns Palestinian Teacher With Cigarette

Say and repeat: “Yasser Arafat is a son of a bitch”. The israeli soldier from the so-called “border police” insisted that a Palestinian teacher from Hebron should say that. The Palestinian teacher was caught and harassed by the IDF soldier while he was on his way back home. The teacher refused the order of the IDF. He did not repeat the sentence which the IDF thug insisted that he must say. Why should the Palestinian do that? The IDF order is illegal. Absolutely, it is a nazi humiliation. But such orders are normal, business as usual, under the grave crimes of the Israeli occupation in Palestine.

The criminal IDF thug applied the burning end of his cigarette to the teacher’s chest. The lit cigarette burned two holes in the teacher’s shirt and left a scar on his chest.

This crime was not perpetrated by fascists or nazi soldiers, and the victim was not one of the privileged jews in EU. The crime was perpetrated on April 8 2010 by a nazi IDF jew. The victim was a civil Palestinian teacher who lives in his Hebron. The IDF military commander of Hebron is the war criminal Lt. Col. Udi ben Muha, or “Udi ben Moha”, who in the past contributed to the ethnic cleansing of the north of Gaza and along the Palestinian-Egyptian border, and he has also implemented other measures which correspond to the definition of genocide and crimes against humanity in the Geneva conventions. Under such a criminal, any soldier feels encouraged to perpetrate crimes.

This crime was not the first or the last crime under the criminal regime of the Israeli occupation in Palestine. This crime is part of the daily Palestinian life under the Zionist jewish occupation. The occurrence of such crimes is every day and hour in the city of Hebron, and in all the Palestinian cities, towns and at the so-called military checkpoints in the West Bank. The crime of burning a Palestinian youth with a cigarette or forcing them to drink the urine of the IDF soldiers and forcing them to repeat their antisocial, immoral phrases is part of the zionist occupation regime which is aimed at forcing the Palestinian citizens to leave their homes in the heart of the city of Hebron in West Bank.

This kind of crime repeatedly happened under the former IDF military commander like Gadi Shamni, Baruch Najjar, Yigal Sharon, Dror Weinberg, Baruch Goldstein, Amnon Cohen, Yehuda Fuchs, Noam Tibon, and other leaders of the IDF commanders, and under the current criminal IDF commanders Udi ben Moha and Aviv Feigel.

One of the most terrible stories of abusive treatment was the incident involving about 24 Palestinian youths who had violated the curfew in Hebron and received their punishment from the hands of the Israseli border Police unit called “Shmark Fuhl”. The soldiers had cursed the youth, spit on them, beaten them, and forced them to sing humiliating ditties: “Hoto Al-hummous al Al-Fuhl, ana baheb abos teez le shmark fuhl”, which translates into English as “put humous on bean, I love to kiss the border police buttocks”. The border police brought their Palestinian prisoners bottles filled with urine to drink, and everybody was forced to sing and drink. According the Christian Peacemaker Team member Ms. Paulette Schroeder: “Every day teachers and students from many schools in the Hebron area must pass through several checkpoints on their way to and from school. These checkpoints most often cause problems for a number of teenage male students and at unpredictable times for teachers and younger students. Detentions of these students and teachers at the checkpoints cause loss of school time and a disruption in the classes when the students or teachers are late.”

“CPT received a very disturbing report from one of the teachers on April 6. While this teacher was returning through the checkpoint back to his home, an Israeli Border Policeman (military soldier) stopped him at the Ibrahimi Mosque checkpoint and insisted that he repeat the phrase: “Yasser Arafat is a son of a bitch.” The teacher refused this order so the policeman applied his burning cigarette end to the teacher’s chest. The lit cigarette burned two holes (see photo attached) in the teacher’s shirt and left a scar on his chest.”

After twenty more minutes of detention, the policeman released the man.

Wife of Israeli Ambassador Causes Trouble in Cairo

Cairo – Wednesday – April 14 2010 – Edna, the wife of Israeli ambassador Ytizhaq Levanon (son of Shula Cohen, a former prostitute and mossad agent), caused a big problem between the security and health authorities at the Cairo International Airport because of a lapdog which she was hiding in a box as she entered the VIP lounge of the airport together with her husband after their arrival from Tel Aviv last Tuesday. The security authorities demanded that the ambassador’s wife take the dog out of the box, but they allowed her to enter the room with the dog. This was a violation of regulations and applicable laws at the airport of Cairo.

The Egyptian veterinary quarantine services at Cairo airport accused the customs authorities of negligence because they failed to send the dog of the Israeli ambassador’s wife to the quarantine authorities when she entered the airport VIP lounge, to make sure that the dog was free from any diseases that might harm the livestock in Egypt.

Dr. Safwat Al-Mubarak, general director of veterinary quarantine service at Cairo International Airport said “We sent a protest memorandum to the customs officials because of what happened, what we see as a major dereliction of duties. We are the authorized power for checking all the animals which enter Cairo Airport”.

He added: “Currently we are searching for the address of Israeli Ambassador in order to follow up the case of the small dog (puppy) with a quarantine of three months at the ambassador residence, or two weeks in our department”. He said that this action is customarily followed with all the animals which are allowed to enter Egypt.

The ignorance of the quarantine regulations at the airport is considered a second violation at the airport, after the violation of the rules which do not allow anybody to enter the VIP lounge at the airport with animals.

Sharp debates are taking place between the officials of the veterinary services, customs and security at the airport, about who bears responsibility for having allowed the Israeli ambassador to pass his dog through the VIP lounge at the airport after arriving from Tel Aviv last Tuesday. The Egyptian security services at the VIP lounge allowed Ambassador Yitzhak Levanon to take a dog from inside a small box which was with his wife after she entered the VIP lounge during her arrival from in Tel Aviv to Cairo International last Tuesday. This was a contrary to the rules and regulations of the use of the VIP lounge at the airport.

Security sources stated that they allowed the ambassador’s wife to enter with her dog after they informed her husband that this behavior should not happen again.

According to journalistic sources from Cairo, it is not expected that the Israeli ambassador will deliver the dog to the quarantine authorities on grounds of having diplomatic immunity.

Donkey, Horse and Cat in Israeli Jail

Stories and aberrant practices like these do not happen anywhere in the world but only in Israel, where the mentally ill zionists reign supreme. This latest story is not the imagination of the writer, or told by an ordinary person or by somebody accused of lying or slander, but it was seen and confirmed by fifteen peace activists and religious Christians, among them 10 men, 5 women, three Israelis, a French woman and another British one. The person who related this story is Abbas Zaki, a member of the Central Committee of Fatah, who is over sixty years old.

The date of the crime was on the return to the Christian celebrations of Palm on Sunday on last March 28, 2010. The story is about the arrest of a donkey and a horse by the Israeli soldiers in occupied Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. The donkey and the horse are symbols of a Christian religious story, which is why they were arrested.

According to the Christian Bible, the Prophet Jesus, Peace and Mercy be upon him, rode on a donkey from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem when he went to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. This was on a Sunday three days before his crucifixion.

On Sunday, March 28 2010, a Christian Palestinian rode on a donkey, and another one rode on a horse during the of Palm Sunday. Hundreds of Christian celebrators moved from the Nativity Church and walked in the city until they arrived at the Bilal bin Rabah Mosque, which the Israeli occupation stole. The Israelis also confiscated its surrounding area from the Holy City of Bethlehem and added it to the property of the military and the occupied city of Jerusalem. They built very high surrounding walls and military watchtower, which all prevent the free entry and exit from Bethlehem and the Aida refugee camp. They separated and paralyzed the social life of the Christians who live in Bethlehem the Christians who live outside, and later also the mosque which confiscated. Abbas Zaki, who took part in the Christian celebration of Palm Sunday said: “When we arrived at the Bilal bin Rabah Mosque, the Israeli metal gate in the middle of the Street in Bethlehem was open, we all passed through the gate. We walked about 700 meters until we reach the Israeli checkpoint 300. There was a military personnel ready to shoot and to clash with the Christians celebrators. We decided to return, the donkey and the horse were among us. Upon arrival at the gate of the Bilal bin Rabah mosque we went out while the Israeli occupation soldiers were watching us through cameras. They closed the gate trying to stop me and some others from entering the city of Bethlehem. We found ourselves between high walls and closed gates, and here the Israeli soldiers arrested the donkey and the horse, myself and 10 other Christian and foreigners”.

“They laid the donkey and the horse down by use of force, and then they cuffed their legs and put them on a military vehicle. The scene was disgusting; especially when they tied up the four legs of these animals and transferred them to jail on charges of having entered a military zone”.

Five days later Zaki and his friends were released from the Israeli Jail, they were found not guilty by the Israeli military judge in the Ofer prison. But the Donkey and the horse still remain detained. Nobody knows if donkey and the horse will be sentenced by the military judge, or if the military will bring them to the court before the judge to hear their trial.

A Cat was Sentenced to Life in Prison at the Negev Jail

Arresting the donkey of Jesus and horse and detaining them in Israeli jails is not the first crime of this kind. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Detainees of the Palestinian Authority, a cat was sentenced to life in prison at the Negev Jail. The story was exposed and published in Palestinian newspapers and Al-Jazeera on last November 19 2009. The M.D. stated that the Israeli violations against the prisoners have extended to include pet cats which live in the Negev prison.

The jails administration confirmed that Negev prison has detained a cat in a cell as punishment for assisting Palestinian prisoners who are serving high sentences in the same jail. The Negev jail administration found the cat guilty of carrying things between prisoners from one cell to another. The cat was apparently a stray cat which walked in, and the prisoners trained her to carry objects and notices between cells. The cat was sentenced by the Israelis to life at the Negev jail together with the Palestinian prisoners who trained her.

I remember once being in company of the AFP correspondent in Hebron while he filmed as the IDF stopped somebody and asked for them to produce an ID for his donkey. I wonder how and why anybody takes the Israelis seriously at all. Year after year, their collective condition visibly deteriorates, as the last arrests of a donkey and a horse and the life sentence of a cat demonstrate.

Correspondence With an Israeli Soldier

Below are two E-mails which were sent to me by an Israeli reserve soldier, who says he served in the occupied Palestinian territory until 2005. The IDF soldier justified expelling me from my homeland Palestine in 2002 by saying: “You did provocations in the country, and deported”!!

The IDF soldier did not clarify in which city, town or village he served in the occupied West Bank or in Gaza. He did not say in how many assassination operations he participated, how many Palestinians he murdered, or in how many massacres he was involved. Every single Israeli soldier who crosses the borders of 1967 is enforcing an illegal occupation, ethnical cleansing, and genocide. They are without exception war criminals, and we will never forget their crimes. We will do everything possible to bring them before justice. All israeli officials, officers are suspected of having been involved in actions against Palestinians which would qualify them as terrorists, criminals against humanity, war criminals, or perpetrators of genocide and other crimes within a context of the Jewish/Zionist genocide against the Palestinian people. I replied to the first e-mail which the IDF soldier sent, but I did not reply to his second e-mail which is based on falsifying the Palestinian history, claiming that the rich Jews went to Palestine after they received compensation from Germany, where they bought Palestinian lands. The facts are very different. The jewish terrorist groups of the Hagana and Palmach recruited their members from among the jewish rabble which went to Palestine starting in the 1880s, but which intensified their immigration in the 1930s mostly using falsified passports. These people did not “buy” land, but instead acquired land by murdering Palestinian farmers and then occupying their land.

One of their “heroes” Alfred Chaim Miller, a mass murderer and member of the Palmach terror organization, describes his emigration to Palestine thus: “I emigrated from Vienna to Palestine in 1938, about the age of 17. As members of the Palmach, and I and my friends occupied a mountains and agricultural hills in Palestine, where we found some Palestinian farmers living, and we kicked them out”. Miller was forced to skedaddle from Austria because he had been involved in arms smuggling and subversive activity together with his father, a polish jew who had immigrated to Vienna, during the 1930s.

I commented on the statement of this soldier about their pulling out of Gaza. I said: “You never left Gaza. You just made Gaza a concentration camp, a big jail where your Apaches helicopters, airplanes never stopped the hobby of murder, and killing”. I also asked him: “Who is the donkey, the donkey himself or the person who arrested him?” This question has a tragic background, another story where the IDF soldiers symbolically arrested a donkey during the celebrations of Palm Sunday March on last 27 2010, because once the prophet, Jesus, went from Bethlehem to Jerusalem mounted on a donkey. Asia-Pacific Journalists Demand US Explain Media Killings in Iraq

April 8 Day of Remembrance - Journalists and media workers from media organisations across the Asia-Pacific region join the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) in commemorating the seven-year anniversary of two attacks by the United States in Iraq which resulted in the deaths of several journalists. (See PDF)

On April 8, 2003, an attack by US forces on Baghdad’s Palestine Hotel killed José Couso, of Spain’s Telecinco and Taras Protsyuk, a Ukrainian cameraman working for Reuters. The hotel has long been known for hosting foreign journalists.

On the same day, US forces attacked the offices of the Al Jazeera broadcaster in Baghdad, killing reporter Tareq Ayyoub.

The IFJ and other press freedom groups, including the Committee to Protect Journalists in New York, examined the Pentagon’s November 2004 report on the attack on the Palestine Hotel, concluding it was flawed and unconvincing.

The IFJ calls on US President Barack Obama to now set up a thorough inquiry, in the spirit of his stated vision of hope for peace and stability in Iraq.

This year’s April 8 anniversary coincides with publication by Wikileaks on April 5 of a video which reportedly portrays a US military helicopter in July 2007 opening fire on and killing civilians in Baghdad, among them Reuters photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen and driver Sameed Chmagh.

Today, the IFJ and its affiliates are writing to President Obama requesting that his administration take responsibility to explain the 2003 and 2007 attacks, especially to the families and colleagues of the victims.

In 2006, the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 1738, which calls on governments to protect journalists and media personnel working in situations of war and conflict, in accordance with their civilian status.

At the most recent meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva last month, the IFJ alongside Article 19 and the International News Safety Institute (INSI) welcomed a draft resolution on protection of journalists in situations of armed conflict.

The draft resolution recognises the “vital role played by the press in situations of armed conflict” and highlights “the large and increasing number of deaths and injuries among members of the press in armed conflict”.

A Response to Israeli Propaganda

Below is a video song which is distributed by “The Never Before Campaign Team”. The video is mainly a response to Israeli propaganda and PR efforts. The first image of the settler who is seen throwing stones is a well known terrorist from the Kahanist Jewish Underground cell. He is one of the terrorist squatters involved in bombing 10 Palestinian shops in Hebron on Al-Kayyal square near the vegetable market on first April 2001, while Hebron was under a tightened curfew.

This terrorist has appeared everywhere in West Bank towns and cities were jewish terrorist actions were perpetrated against Palestinians, especially in Nablus and Hebron.

April 8 2010 – Vienna – Kawther Salam – UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon started his four days visit to Austria by holding a meeting with the Federal President Dr. Heinz Fischer in his residence in the first district. Dr. Fischer warmly welcomed the guest and spoke briefly about the good relations of Austria with the United Nations. After that, Dr. Fischer, Ban Ki-moon and Antonio Maria Costa, the director of UNOV and other high UN officials held a meeting with Dr. Fischer, which lasted about half an hour.

Later, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the delegation with him moved from the presidential residence to the Austrian Foreign Ministry, where they met Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger. He continued his tour and held several meetings with Werner Faymann, the Federal Chancellor of Austria, and Barbara Prammer, the President of the Austrian parliament. Ban Ki-moon also delivered a speech at the Austrian Parliament before hundreds of politicians, ambassadors, and representatives of Austrian civil organizations, to which they listened attentively and greeted with a warm applause.

Two separate press conferences were held during his first day in Austria. One press conference was held at the Austrian Foreign Ministry, and another one at the residency of Federal Chancellor Faymann. The conferences were attended by many local and international journalists.

The UN peacekeeping missions, Middle East peace talks, nuclear weapons, the situation in Kyrgyzstan, the Afghanistan war and the climate change were the top issues mentioned during the meetings and discussions of Ban Ki-moon with Austrian official.

At the Foreign Ministry, Minister Spindelegger stated that Austria will continue developing the peacekeeping missions with the UN. “We have new proposals for UN”, said minister Spindelegger. “Austria will set up a liaison office for disarmament through the UN, and also establish a regional office for Eastern Europe”.

“I had seen the use of Austrian peacekeeping mission to the UN in Lebanon as a welcome initiative and will raise this issue in the federal government meeting once again. Austria would fulfill the desire Bans and actively in UN peacekeeping missions in operation” said Minister Spindelegger.

During both press conferences, the UN Secretary General said that Vienna is his second home which he frequently visits either in transit or on an official visit like this one. It is a great pleasure to be back in Vienna, a city that is very special to me, personally and to the work of the United Nations. As you might know, Vienna is my second home.

Ki-moon also described Vienna is a vital centre of the global work to fight drugs and crime, end nuclear weapons, tackle nuclear challenges, promote energy security and much more. He thanked for Austria’s leadership in the Security Council. As a valued Security Council member for the period 2009-2010, Austria is working alongside other Council members to address a range of pressing issues of peace and security, he said.

Ban Ki-moon also expressed his “very high thanks” for the Austrian contribution to UN peacekeeping missions, particularly the use of women as police officers in the peacekeeping missions. He also spoke about the “necessity and importance of eliminating all nuclear weapons”. “We have to realize a world without nuclear weapons,” said Ban Ki-moon. He greeted the signing of the new START treaty between the Presidents of the US and the Russian Federation. He described the treaty as a very great initiative of the leaders of these two countries and he hopes that this initiative will add an impact to the forthcoming Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, D.C. as well as to the NPT Review Conference which will be held in New York in May 2010.

Minister Spindelegger commented on the speech of Ban Ki-moon about nuclear weapons, saying that Austria would cooperate in disarmament matters with the UN and also the five-point plan to support bans on nuclear disarmament.

Ban Ki-moon said that he had discussed with Werner Faymann, Federal Chancellor of Austria, how the international community could help to facilitate the Middle East peace process and he was briefed about his plan to visit the Middle East. “I briefed him on my own recent visit to the Middle East, including Gaza, and we discussed developments and the prospects for proximity talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israel”.

“We discussed at great length the situation which is happening in Kyrgyzstan and we agreed that while we support the freedom of assembly, all the differences of opinion should be handled properly according to the rule of law and also respecting human rights, and we expressed our concern. And I explained to him my plan of dispatching my Special Envoy to the region, Mr. Jan Kubiš, and my intention to work closely with the OSCE in this regard”.

“We are also of the same view that this is an important year for progress on a variety of vital concerns – from nuclear non-proliferation, to gender empowerment, to building a road-map to achieve the Millennium Development Goals”.

Faymann and Ki- moon also raised in their talk the climate change, and how they can maintain the momentum from Copenhagen. “We need to work hard to achieve a robust legally binding treaty as soon as possible” stated both Faymann and Ki-moon. “The Austrian Government’s is willing to provide all necessary, possible support for the coming climate negotiation process” said Ki-moon.

Ban Ki-moon was warmly welcomed by the President of the Austrian Parliament, Barbara Prammer, during the noon and evening visits to the Parliament. Ki-moon met the representatives of the political parties during a meeting. At the evening, he delivered a speech at the Parliament and was warmly applauded greeted. He listened to the questions from the Austrian political audience and answered them briefly.

One of the question which Ursula Plassnik, former foreign minister of Austria, raised was about the increased violence and sexual abuse against women and how the UN would eliminate this problem.

In response to her question, Ki-moon spoke about the necessity of changing the culture of men societies toward women, who represent over 50% of society. He focused on the need to abide by human rights conventions, which guarantees the equality of women and men.
