And again, writing to the Corinthians, he declares, "But we preach Christ Jesus crucified; "and adds, "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour, there was darkness over all the earth, until the ninth hour.

Origen tell us this darkness was only in Palestine, and the neighbouring countries: for as to the words, over the whole earth, or over the whole land, we find one kingdom or empire, by a common way of speaking, called the whole earth, or the whole world. As to the cause of the obscuration of the sun; and secondly, as to the extent of its darkness. Origen tells us that the darkness was partial, and confined to Judea and the neighbouring countries, as the darkness of Egypt was only perceived in that country, and not in Gessen, where the children of Israel were. Saint Jerome tells us that the obscurity was caused by the rays of the sun being suddenly withdrawn by divine power, as was the case in Egypt. The darkness in Egypt during the Passover of Moses was due to God's protection withdrawn from that land at that time. The darkness when Christ was Crucified for us is the judgement of God upon His Son Jesus Christ, in our place. For Jesus Christ knew NO sin. He never sinned, nor could He ever.

The meaning of the Pasch of Christians.

The Book of Wisdom, Chapter 17, describes the devils and demons thrown back upon the Egyptians when the Israelites under Moses were brought out of Egypt by God for God’s purposes (to prepare a place for the Crucifixion of Our Lord for the Redemption of the whole world of those who are saved). In the same way the same false gods and goddesses that the Egyptians served and which in so doing were the reason the Egyptians sacrificed their sons and daughters to the devils and demons behind the false gods/goddesses were the spirits that killed the Egyptian children that perished when the Israelites were brought out of Egypt. God does not murder children, period. The angel of death which destroyed in Egypt was one of the fallen spirits. God did not cause any of the fallen spirits to hurt anyone. God allowed the fallen spirits to do what it is their nature do to when He brought the Israelites out of the gates of hell which was Egypt. The children below the age of reason that died went to be with God for eternity, they will be resurrected with the just at the Second Coming of Christ. This principle of God allowing the innocent to be afflicted along with guilty finds its ultimate fulfillment in Christ’s singular and only salvific Kenosis. Jesus Christ committed no sin, not ever nor could He, and was and is and only could be utterly and absolutely and completely innocent of any and all wrongdoing and sin by His very nature as the Holy and True God. The guiltless sacrificed by His own will for the guilty. Even when the innocent are afflicted by the actions and evils instigated by the fallen spirits in the world, the innocent are not possessed by those fallen spirits. The principle of all being afflicted by the evil set loose upon the world for its unrepentant sin will occur when the universal plagues are let loose upon the world. See Apocalypse 16 –

The principle of our always, for our part, protecting children is given us by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 18

1 At *that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who, thinkest thou, is the greater in the kingdom of heaven?

2 *And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them,

3 And said: Amen I say unto you, *unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

10 Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, *that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

The principle of our ONLY worshipping the True God, the Father and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is given first in the historical truth of the Garden of Eden when Christ, who is the Tree of Life commands the first man and his wife, Adam and Eve to not have anything to do with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which is Satan, the first fallen angel, nor with any of the fallen angels with Satan. Assisi of Babylon/Vatican/Rome is absolute and complete violation of that principle and is the Great Apostasy in full blown Satanic evil. Have nothing to do with the Vatican or suffer its eternal damnation in hell with it. The devil and demon worshipping pagans and the perfidious deicidal Jews are not ever any part of the Salvific action of Christ upon Golgotha/Calvary. Individual pagans and Jews if they repent of their not confessing Jesus Christ as the Immortal Son of God become flesh for our sake and sacrificed for our salvation and who confess publicly their sin of devil and demon worshipping and perfidy and deicide and who beg the Lord of all, the Lord God, the Father and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for forgiveness of their horrid and abominable sins, can and will be forgiven if they do so now in this life and will enter into the only path of salvation there is as dictated by God Himself. The Church, all the faithful – there is no other meaning acceptable to God for the word Church, is commanded by God to not have anything to do with the Apostasy.

Book of Wisdom, Chapter 17

1 For thy judgments, O Lord, are great, and thy words cannot be expressed: therefore undisciplined souls have erred.

2 For while the wicked thought to be able to have dominion over the holy nation, they themselves being fettered with the bonds of darkness, and a long night, shut up in their houses, lay there exiled from the eternal providence.

3 And while they thought to lie hid in their obscure sins, they were scattered under a dark veil of forgetfulness, being horribly afraid and troubled with exceeding great astonishment.

Letter to President Abbas: The Ball Is Now In The Court Of Palestine

Dear President Abbas,

We, the undersigned Palestinian and international human rights organizations, write to urge you to ensure that Palestine pursues the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) by promptly acceding to the Rome Statute and/or filing a further declaration accepting the Court’s jurisdiction over crimes committed on Palestinian territory from 1 July 2002.

Taking such steps could ensure access to international justice for victims of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed on Palestinian territories, and would send an important message that such crimes cannot be committed with impunity.

As you know, following the UN General Assembly’s decision in November 2012 to upgrade Palestine’s status to “non-member observer state”, the ICC Office of the Prosecutor stated that the decision “does not cure the legal invalidity of [Palestine's] 2009 declaration” which accepted the ICC’s jurisdiction over acts committed on its territory since 1 July 2002, and that “at this stage, the Office has no legal basis to open a new preliminary examination.”

The Office stated that it was, therefore, not in a position to consider allegations of serious crimes committed in Palestine without further steps by your government. On this basis, the current ICC Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, has said that “the ball is now in the court of Palestine” to seek the court’s jurisdiction.

We understand the pressure that Palestine is under from Israel and the United States not to pursue the jurisdiction of the ICC, whether during or after the current US-sponsored negotiations with Israel. We are aware that even countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Canada, which are states parties to the ICC treaty and purport to seek its universal ratification, have, at times, opposed Palestine seeking access to the ICC.

We oppose these efforts to politicize justice for victims of serious crimes under international law, and urge you to resist them. Justice is an important end in its own right, preserving the rights of victims and affected communities regardless of the uncertain prospects for peace. The commission of war crimes with impunity has regularly undermined the peace process. A credible prosecution threat would help to advance the cause of peace.

Palestine’s accession in April to 20 international treaties and conventions was a significant and positive step, obliging the Palestinian government to respect, protect, and fulfill human rights, and requiring Palestinian forces to abide by international rules on armed conflict. Accession to the Rome Statute would be a vital further step towards protecting human rights by ensuring that the ICC can step in to address impunity when domestic authorities are genuinely unable or unwilling to do so.

Seeking the ICC’s jurisdiction over serious crimes committed on Palestinian territory should therefore be seen as an apolitical step towards ending impunity and could help deter future abuses.

The ICC represents an important tool for justice and effective remedies for victims. We urge you to seize it without any further delay.

Mass Imposition Of Death Penalty in Egypt Outrageous

GENEVA – 29 April 2014 – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay on Tuesday strongly condemned the shocking imposition of the death penalty on 683 individuals in Egypt yesterday after mass trials that she said clearly breached international human rights law.

“It is outrageous that for the second time in two months, the Sixth Chamber of the Criminal Court in Al-Minya has imposed the death sentence on huge groups of defendants after perfunctory trials,” she said.

“In defiance of worldwide pleas for Egypt to respect its human rights obligations after 529 people were sentenced to death in March by the same court, hundreds now face a similar fate at the hands of a judicial system where international fair trial guarantees appear to be increasingly trampled upon.”

“It is high time that Egypt takes its human rights commitments seriously,” Pillay added, noting in particular that Egypt has ratified the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

According to information received, the 683 defendants were charged with killing a policeman and breaking into the Edwa police station in Al-Minya on 14 August 2013, among other charges. As in the previous cases, the exact charges against each defendant are not clear, given that they were not individually read out in court.

“The presumption of innocence is fundamental to the protection of human rights in a criminal trial,” Pillay said.

“It imposes on the prosecution the burden of proving the charge against each accused and it guarantees that no guilt can be presumed until the charge against him or her has been proved beyond reasonable doubt.”

“Instead of imposing death sentences wholesale, courts must ensure that accused individuals enjoy fair trials, including the benefit of doubt,” Pillay stressed.

Of the 529 people who were sentenced to death by the Sixth Chamber of the Criminal Court in Al-Minya on 24 March for killing a policeman and on various other charges, 37 had their sentences upheld by the court yesterday, while others reportedly received reduced sentences of 25 years, in itself excessive, and were fined EGP 20,000.

“The death penalty can only be applied for the most serious crimes and after the most stringent trial safeguards,” the High Commissioner said. “This has clearly not been the case in these two trials before the Al-Minya criminal court. Egypt: Shocking Death Sentences Follow Sham Trial

A day after more than 500 supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi were sentenced to death, and two days after Barak Obama’s administration has approved the shipment of Apache attack helicopters to the military junta that rules Egypt, an Egyptian court has opened another mass trial and 683 more Brotherhood supporters were sentenced to death among them Mohammed Badie, the Muslim Brotherhood.

Minya, Egypt – Agencies – Egypt has opened another mass trial of suspects with 683 defendants facing charges of murder and sabotage, including the Muslim Brotherhood’s top leader.

The defendants sentenced were accused of involvement in the murder and attempted murder of policemen in the southern Minya province last August.

A final capital punishment ruling was also handed down for 37 others, part of a judgment on 529 Muslim Brotherhood supporters who were recommended for a death sentence last month.

The remaining 492 death sentences have now been commuted to life in prison.

Seeking the death penalty for Mohammed Badie, the Brotherhood’s general guide, is certain to raise tension in Egypt, which has been gripped by turmoil since the army removed the Brotherhood from power last year.

Proceedings were held in the southern city of Minya, where just the day before the same court handed down death sentences to 529 supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi over a deadly attack on a police station. That verdict followed a rushed, two-day trial that drew wide public and international criticism.

Only 60 of the 683 defendants were in the dock on Tuesday. The rest are being tried in absentia. The Brotherhood’s spiritual guide did not appear in court, with authorities citing security reasons.

On April 23 2014, Obama’s administration has approved the shipment of Apache attack helicopters to the military junta that rules Egypt. The decision was communicated to the military regime April 22 by defense secretary Chuck Hagel in a phone call to the Egyptian minister of defense, General Sedki Sobhy.

Hagel also told his Egyptian counterpart that US Secretary of State John Kerry will soon certify to Congress that “Egypt is sustaining the strategic relationship and is meeting its obligations under the 1979 Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty.” These certifications are required under US law to permit the continuation of US military aid.

The ten Apache helicopters are “in support of Egypt’s counterterrorism operations in the Sinai,” according to a Pentagon press release, but there is no restriction on their use once the weapons are in Egyptian hands. The murderous gunships can be redeployed from strafing restive Bedouin tribesmen along the border with Israel to massacring demonstrators in cities like Cairo, Alexandria and Suez.

The US will continue to withhold certain weapons, including F-16 fighter jets, M-1 tanks and Harpoon missiles, whose shipment has been suspended since the July 2013 coup that overthrew the elected president of Egypt, Mohammed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Death Sentences Breach International Law

Earlier, the UN human rights commissioner has condemned an Egyptian court’s decision to sentence to death 528 supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi.

A spokesman for Navi Pillay said the “cursory mass trial” was “rife with procedural irregularities” and breached international human rights law.

On March 22, 2014, the criminal court in Minya, Egypt sentenced 529 people to death. It was the largest mass death sentence in recent years anywhere, in a trial lacking basic due process protections.

The vast majority of defendants were tried in absentia, took place in under an hour. The prosecution did not put forward evidence implicating any individual defendant, even though it had compiled significant evidence during its investigations and the court prevented defense lawyers from presenting their case or calling witnesses, three of the defense lawyers told Human Rights Watch. A second summary session was held two days later solely to announce the verdict.

It’s shocking even amid Egypt’s deep political repression that a court has sentenced 529 people to death without giving them any meaningful opportunity to defend themselves. The Minya court failed to carry out its most fundamental duty to assess the individual guilt of each defendant, violating the most basic fair trial right. وقد قررت محكمة مصرية اليوم الاثنين إحالة أوراق المرشد العام لجماعة الإخوان المسلمين محمد بديع و682 آخرين إلى المفتي تمهيدا للحكم بإعدامهم لإدانتهم في قضية اضطرابات وقعت بمحافظة المنيا جنوبي القاهرة في أغسطس آب

Kerry: Israel Risks Becoming Apartheid State

Update: After a day of outraged responses, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that he had chosen the wrong word when describing Israel’s potential future as an “apartheid state” if it didn’t reach a peace deal with the Palestinians.

“I will not allow my commitment to Israel to be questioned by anyone, particularly for partisan, political purposes, so I want to be crystal clear about what I believe and what I don’t believe,” Kerry said after US lawmakers and pro-Israel groups criticized him, with some demanding his resignation or at least an apology.

US Secretary of State John Kerry warned foreign leaders and experts mainly from the US, Western Europe, Russia, and Japan on Friday saying that israel will risk becoming an apartheid state or losing its Jewish identity if a peace accord with the Palestinians is not reached in the near future. Kerry’s comments were published on Sunday by The Daily Beast news website.

The secretary of state said that if Israel doesn’t make peace soon, it could become an apartheid state, like the old South Africa.

“A two-state solution will be clearly underscored as the only real alternative. Because a unitary state winds up either being an apartheid state with second class citizens, or it ends up being a state that destroys the capacity of Israel to be a Jewish state,” Kerry told the group of senior officials and experts from the U.S., Western Europe, Russia, and Japan. “Once you put that frame in your mind, that reality, which is the bottom line, you understand how imperative it is to get to the two state solutions, which both leaders, even yesterday, said they remain deeply committed to.”

According to the 1998 Rome Statute, the “crime of apartheid” is defined as “inhumane acts… committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial group or groups and committed with the intention of maintaining that regime.” The term is most often used in reference to the system of racial segregation and oppression that governed South Africa from 1948 until 1994.

Earlier in April, Kerry urged Israeli and Palestinian leaders to prevent the negotiations from collapsing, saying it was regrettable that both sides have taken steps recently that are not helpful in promoting peace and ending the decades-long conflict between the two sides.

Former Police Officer Murdered in Bethlehem, EU COPPS Suspect

Former Palestinian Police officer Hasan Mubarak Abu Mahameed, political prisoner in Israel and activist of Fatah, was shot dead by the paramilitary police of the PA in Al-Fureidis (al-Asakira) east of Bethlehem on Monday.

Mr. Abdullah Abu Hadid, a Fatah activist who went to the hospital of Beit Jala to calm the angry Palestinians gathering at the entrance of the hospital storing the body of the victim said: “I knew the young man who was killed well. Mr. Mahameed is a former political prisoner at israeli jails. He spent four years in prisons on charges of belonging to the Fatah movement.”

Mr. Mahameed worked for five years as a PA police officer after he was released from israeli jail. He was forced to resign from his work after his father’s death in a fight with the Al-Wahsh family, a clan that has strong connections with the PA and the Fatah movement.

Several eyewitnesses confirmed that Mr. Mahameed was unarmed at the incident. He was driving his car to pick up his daughter from school because of the severe cold wave. The Palestinian police force, a militia trained by the EU COPPS, intercepted him. He was beaten to the ground where the police shot him. The bullets hit him directly in the back and exited from other parts of his body.

The spokesperson of the Palestinian Police spread lies about the incident as is usual after each crime they perpetrate. He claimed that the forces shot Mahameed after he “escaped during an attempt to arrest him” and that he was wanted since 2005.

The Palestinian paramilitary Police has perpetrated many of murders during supposed attempts to arrest Palestinians.

On June 15 2013, the Palestinian militarized police murdered a Palestinian elderly man, Mr. Sadi Al-Skhel from Nablus.
On May 8, 2013, Khaleda Tayseer Quazbeh, 30, a mother of 13 children from Al-Minia in the district of Bethlehem, was murdered in cold blood by PA police in civilian clothes.
On 23 February 2013, another Palestinian prisoner, Ayman Mohammad Sharif Samara, 40, was arrested by the PA police and “died” on 1 March 2013, at the Jericho Prison in the occupied West Bank.
On April 15 of last year 2012, the Palestinian police and security forces executed in cold blood the Palestinian youth Amthal Ghannam al-Ghwadre in the village of Bir al-Basha.

The murder of Mr. Mahameed and other Palestinians goes to the account of the EU COPPS. The European police unit COPPS has been stationed since years in Ramallah and trains the Palestinian Police in the suppression of the Palestinian civilian society and of any citizen who would express views against the occupation.

The EU COPPS is garrisoned in Ramallah and works in occupied Palestine according to supplemental political protocols imposed on the Palestinian people. Their presence has resulted in a great increase in the brutality of Palestinian police. They are fully responsible for mass arrests, torture, deaths and continued violations of human rights perpetrated by the Palestinian police.

The European COPPS forces train the Palestinian police to do their dirty work which simply can be described as methodical violations of the international humanitarian law, as repressive dictatorship gangs whose tasks are defined simply as suppressing Palestinian opposition to the occupation and to turn Palestine into a bigger Guantanamo.

Egypt Involved in Crimes Against Humanity in Gaza??

What is the benefit to the Egyptians from the continuous closure of the Rafah crossing, the only crossing that allows the million and a half persons living in Gaza to have contact with the world?
What are the motives that make the Egyptian government insist on the closure of the crossing, denying Palestinian students, patients, traders to reach their universities, hospitals, business partners?

The Egyptian Government continues to tighten the siege on the Gaza Strip side by side with israel and works to aggravate the humanitarian situation in Gaza in contravention to international laws which their country has signed. The residents of the Gaza Strip live under an unjust policy of the siege which has been imposed on them continuously for nearly 7 year by israel with the collusion of western as well as Arab countries.

Newborn Baby Dies – On Friday 27 September 2013, new Palestinian born baby Mohammed Adel Al Mashharawi died as his mother was not able to reach hospital on time due to the Israeli closure imposed on the Gaza Strip. His mother Eman Hamdi Dughmush, 38, was waiting at Cairo Airport and in the vicinity of Rafah crossing to be allowed to enter Gaza.

In her affidavit to Al Mezan, Eman stated that she had waited for one day at Cairo Airport and for another day nearby Rafah crossing. She was not able to reach hospital in Egypt due to the imposed curfew and the security circumstances. She was forced to give birth to Mohammed in Egypt because she was not allowed to enter Gaza Strip.

Al Mezan Center for Human Rights asserts that Israeli siege imposed on Gaza Strip is violation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL). The international community must insist on a complete lift of Israel’s illegal siege of the Gaza Strip rather than easing the restrictions as the current negotiations seem to be deciding. The dire situation in the Gaza Strip cannot be reduced to a merely ‘humanitarian crisis’, as it is basically a human rights crisis borne out of the occupation and continuing closure of the Gaza Strip. The humanitarian aspects of the siege are only symptoms. Dealing with them alone cannot provide an answer to the root causes of the current crisis now or in the future. Furthermore, the proposals also risk exacerbating the separation and isolation of the Gaza Strip from the West Bank.

Following the international condemnation of the Israeli attack on the flotilla fleet carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of 9 solidarity activists, criticism of Israel’s actions has veered towards easing the siege instead of ending it. Once again, voices from international community stressed the illegal nature of the siege, which represents a measure of collective punishment of the entire population of Gaza. This measure has been tolerated for too long. In September 2013, the Israeli authorities allowed the entry of construction materials for Palestinian private sector and it announced it will increase the amount of fuel allowed into the Gaza Strip.

Approximately four thousands of Palestinians, including Palestinian families living in other countries and university students who study abroad, have been stuck in Gaza they may lose their work and study due to the Israeli closure and siege. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, more than 1,000 critically patients are supposed to travel monthly to receive medical treatment at Egyptian hospitals. The closure of Rafah crossing comes amidst the continuous Israeli prevention of Palestinians from freedom of travelling via Erez crossing. Moreover, the Israeli authorities blackmail and detain Palestinian patients who seek travel via Erez crossing

The proposals to ease the siege should not be accepted as sufficient by the international community. They focus on the entry of more goods into Gaza while ignoring the movement of Palestinians within their own territory; that is between Gaza and the West Bank (including Jerusalem). They focus on imports and completely ignore exports. The freedom of movement for the people of Gaza will remain tightly controlled as it is currently with only certain people such as some of the patients and students potentially being able to leave. Gaza students are expected to continue to be prohibited from studying in the West Bank universities.

Al Mezan Centre is dismayed at the failure of the international community to take concrete action to lift the Israeli-imposed siege in its entirety as the first step towards ending the occupation of the Palestinian territories. Many governments have recognized that the siege is unsustainable. The ICRC has declared it a violation of international humanitarian law which constitutes collective punishment.

“It is intolerable that discussions among the major players have focused on a step-by-step approach to addressing the siege,” Issam, Younis said. “Governments in the international community are continuing to give priority to Israel’s self-defence while the population of Gaza is being collectively punished and the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination ignored.”

Governments should recognize that the siege is a violation of international humanitarian law and human rights law, and constitutes collective punishment. Al Mezan calls on the international community to end the siege on the Gaza Strip. All restrictions on the Gaza Strip including the movement of people should be lifted unconditionally and immediately. The international community should work towards ending the occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to enjoy their rights; including to self-determination.
