The Truth of God and Our Lord Jesus Christ

Special Palestine Cry Blog articles: The Catholic Creed: The meaning of the Pasch of Christians.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY AND TRUTH AND LIFE - NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY HIM.

For as it was not possible that the man who had once for all been conquered, and who had been destroyed through disobedience, could reform himself, and obtain the prize of victory; and as it was also impossible that he could attain to salvation who had fallen under the power of sin,-the Son effected both these things, being the Word of God, descending from the Father, becoming incarnate, stooping low, even to death, and consummating the arranged plan of our salvation, upon whom [Paul], exhorting us unhesitatingly to believe, again says, "Who shall ascend into heaven? that is, to bring down Christ; or who shall descend into the deep? that is, to liberate Christ again from the dead." Then he continues, "If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved." And he renders the reason why the Son of God did these things, saying, "For to this end Christ both lived, and died, and revived, that He might rule over the living and the dead." And again, writing to the Corinthians, he declares, "But we preach Christ Jesus crucified; "and adds, "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? " - St. Irenaeus, Against Heresies, Book III, Chapter XVIII, Section 2.

The Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, Mary and John and the women at the foot of the Cross

Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour, there was darkness over all the earth, until the ninth hour.

Origen tell us this darkness was only in Palestine, and the neighbouring countries: for as to the words, over the whole earth, or over the whole land, we find one kingdom or empire, by a common way of speaking, called the whole earth, or the whole world. As to the cause of the obscuration of the sun; and secondly, as to the extent of its darkness. Origen tells us that the darkness was partial, and confined to Judea and the neighbouring countries, as the darkness of Egypt was only perceived in that country, and not in Gessen, where the children of Israel were. Saint Jerome tells us that the obscurity was caused by the rays of the sun being suddenly withdrawn by divine power, as was the case in Egypt. The darkness in Egypt during the Passover of Moses was due to God's protection withdrawn from that land at that time. The darkness when Christ was Crucified for us is the judgement of God upon His Son Jesus Christ, in our place. For Jesus Christ knew NO sin. He never sinned, nor could He ever.

The meaning of the Pasch of Christians.

The Book of Wisdom, Chapter 17, describes the devils and demons thrown back upon the Egyptians when the Israelites under Moses were brought out of Egypt by God for God’s purposes (to prepare a place for the Crucifixion of Our Lord for the Redemption of the whole world of those who are saved). In the same way the same false gods and goddesses that the Egyptians served and which in so doing were the reason the Egyptians sacrificed their sons and daughters to the devils and demons behind the false gods/goddesses were the spirits that killed the Egyptian children that perished when the Israelites were brought out of Egypt. God does not murder children, period. The angel of death which destroyed in Egypt was one of the fallen spirits. God did not cause any of the fallen spirits to hurt anyone. God allowed the fallen spirits to do what it is their nature do to when He brought the Israelites out of the gates of hell which was Egypt. The children below the age of reason that died went to be with God for eternity, they will be resurrected with the just at the Second Coming of Christ. This principle of God allowing the innocent to be afflicted along with guilty finds its ultimate fulfillment in Christ’s singular and only salvific Kenosis. Jesus Christ committed no sin, not ever nor could He, and was and is and only could be utterly and absolutely and completely innocent of any and all wrongdoing and sin by His very nature as the Holy and True God. The guiltless sacrificed by His own will for the guilty. Even when the innocent are afflicted by the actions and evils instigated by the fallen spirits in the world, the innocent are not possessed by those fallen spirits. The principle of all being afflicted by the evil set loose upon the world for its unrepentant sin will occur when the universal plagues are let loose upon the world. See Apocalypse 16

The principle of our always, for our part, protecting children is given us by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 18

1 At *that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who, thinkest thou, is the greater in the kingdom of heaven?

2 *And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them,

3 And said: Amen I say unto you, *unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

10 Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, *that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

The principle of our ONLY worshipping the True God, the Father and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is given first in the historical truth of the Garden of Eden when Christ, who is the Tree of Life commands the first man and his wife, Adam and Eve to not have anything to do with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which is Satan, the first fallen angel, nor with any of the fallen angels with Satan. Assisi of Babylon/Vatican/Rome is absolute and complete violation of that principle and is the Great Apostasy in full blown Satanic evil. Have nothing to do with the Vatican or suffer its eternal damnation in hell with it. The devil and demon worshipping pagans and the perfidious deicidal Jews are not ever any part of the Salvific action of Christ upon Golgotha/Calvary. Individual pagans and Jews if they repent of their not confessing Jesus Christ as the Immortal Son of God become flesh for our sake and sacrificed for our salvation and who confess publicly their sin of devil and demon worshipping and perfidy and deicide and who beg the Lord of all, the Lord God, the Father and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for forgiveness of their horrid and abominable sins, can and will be forgiven if they do so now in this life and will enter into the only path of salvation there is as dictated by God Himself. The Church, all the faithful – there is no other meaning acceptable to God for the word Church, is commanded by God to not have anything to do with the Apostasy.

Book of Wisdom, Chapter 17

1 For thy judgments, O Lord, are great, and thy words cannot be expressed: therefore undisciplined souls have erred.

2 For while the wicked thought to be able to have dominion over the holy nation, they themselves being fettered with the bonds of darkness, and a long night, shut up in their houses, lay there exiled from the eternal providence.

3 And while they thought to lie hid in their obscure sins, they were scattered under a dark veil of forgetfulness, being horribly afraid and troubled with exceeding great astonishment.

4 For neither did the den that held them, keep them from fear: for noises coming down troubled them, and sad visions appearing to them, affrighted them.

5 And no power of fire could give them light, neither could the bright flames of the stars enlighten that horrible night.

6 But there appeared to them a sudden fire, very dreadful: and being struck with the fear of that face, which was not seen, they thought the things which they saw to be worse:

7 And the delusions of their magic art were put down, and their boasting of wisdom was reproachfully rebuked.

8 For they who promised to drive away fears and troubles from a sick soul, were sick themselves of a fear worthy to be laughed at.

9 For though no terrible thing disturbed them: yet being scared with the passing by of beasts, and hissing of serpents, they died for fear: and denying that they saw the air, which could by no means be avoided.

10 For whereas wickedness is fearful, it beareth witness of its condemnation: for a troubled conscience always forecasteth grievous things.

11 For fear is nothing else but a yielding up of the succours from thought.

12 And while there is less expectation from within, the greater doth it count the ignorance of that cause which bringeth the torment.

13 But they that during that night, in which nothing could be done, and which came upon them from the lowest and deepest hell, slept the same sleep.

14 Were sometimes molested with the fear of monsters, sometimes fainted away, their soul failing them: for a sudden and unlooked for fear was come upon them.

15 Moreover if any of them had fallen down, he was kept shut up in prison without irons.

16 For if any one were a husbandman, or a shepherd, or a labourer in the field, and was suddenly overtaken, he endured a necessity from which he could not fly.

17 For they were all bound together with one chain of darkness. Whether it were a whistling wind, or the melodious voice of birds, among the spreading branches of trees, or a fall of water running down with violence,

18 Or the mighty noise of stones tumbling down, or the running that could not be seen of beasts playing together, or the roaring voice of wild beasts, or a rebounding echo from the highest mountains: these things made them to swoon for fear.

19 For the whole world was enlightened with a clear light, and none were hindered in their labours.

20 But over them only was spread a heavy night, an image of that darkness which was to come upon them. But they were to themselves more grievous than the darkness.

Global Campaign to End Violence Against Women Journalists

imagesThe International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) launched a global  campaign to denounce violence against women journalists and alert public authorities on their need to to end impunity for  these crimes. This campaign is a response to the numerous cases of women journalists being threatened, attacked, harassed, raped or even killed in the course of their profession.
“Tragically, women journalists are under bigger threat than their male colleagues when it comes to attacks, bullying, threats, cyber-bullying, rape and abuse; all effective tools to silence women’s voices in the media. As we encourage more and more women into the profession, their safety must be paramount,” said IFJ Gender Council co-chair Mindy Ran.
According to the IFJ, six women journalists were killed this year in the course of their profession. Rebecca Davidson, a New Zealand national, deputy head of programming at the Dubai-based Arabian Radio Network was killed on 8 February  in a boat collision while on assignment in the Seychelles.  Journalist Rahmo Abdulkadir working for Radio Abudwaq was shot in Towfiq district in north Mogadishu, Somalia capital, when she was close to her house. Baiu Lu, from the Urumqi Evening News died on 18  April,  in an accident while conducting interviews on a construction site in Urumqi, capital of Northwest China. Habiba Ahmet Abd Elaziz from UAE-based Xpress newspaper was killed on 14  August together with four other journalists in Egypt. Yarra Abbas, television correspondent for Al-Ikhbariyah TVwas killed on 27  May, while covering clashes near the border with Lebanon. French reporter Ghislaine Dupont, who worked for Radio France International (RFI) was  abducted and shot dead on 2nd November  together with her male colleague Claude Verlon in the Malian northern city of Kidal.

“A one day protest  on 25 November is not enough to fight against attacks against our female colleagues,” said Zuliana Lainez, member of the IFJ Gender Council and the IFJ Executive Committee. “We are launching a Working Party to ensure that constant attention is paid to the safety of our colleagues throughout the world and regular alerts and protests are launched to denounce these crimes. Part of the activities include a twitter action to mark 25 November International Day for the elimination of violence against women,” says Lainez who will lead  the Working Party.
“We urge media organisations to do their best to fight violence against female media workers,” says Mounia Belafia, IFJ Gender Council co-chair. “Respect for gender equality is  an important step for this and media must be made accountable for mainstreaming gender in all their activities.”
The IFJ encourages journalists, their unions and supporters to express their concerns over violence against women journalists and demand an end to impunity for these crimes

Israel Prevents Journalist Mission From Entering Gaza

Israel Prevents Journalist Mission From Entering Gaza

[use Open Image in New Window to see Images in full enlarged]

IFJ Congress

In clear defiance of international press organizations, journalists and media, and the right to freedom of movement, and while the Israeli propaganda and the censored media continue misleading the international public opinion, especially the Europeans officials, by claiming that Israel removed it’s restriction on freedom of movement and access to the Gaza Strip, the occupation authorities prohibited a high level journalist mission headed by Mr. Jim Baumila, the President of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and IFJ Executive members accompanying him, Franco Siddi, General Secretary of the Italian Federazione Nazionale della Prensa Italiana, Eva Stabell, Norwegian Norsk Journalistlag, Androula Georgiadou, European Federation of Journalists Steering Committee member, a representative of the Union of Cyprus Journalists and Monir Zaarour, co-coordinator of IFJ Middle East and Arab World, from entering the Gaza Strip and meeting with the Palestinian Journalists and discussing their safety and the action needed to improve their freedom of movement under the strict closure imposed on Gaza since 2006.

Israel also prohibited the Vice President of the IFJ Younes Mujahid, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Moroccan Press Union, to enter the Palestinian territories together with a European delegation of the IFJ.

The prohibition of Mr. Mujahid from entering the Palestinian territories is another chapter of racism, discrimination, repression and terror against journalists and journalism which Israel has imposed on the Palestinian people since over 62 years. Under this Israeli apartheid regime which the zionists of Israel continue to apply to the Arab world, they have the shamelessness to want to start a full “normalization” of relations by using the US power to impose that by force on the Arab readers. The fact is that the relations of the Arab world with israel ARE normal and need not be changed.

The prohibition of Mr. Jim Baumila and his delegation from entering Gaza and the prohibition of Mr. Jim Baumila, the President of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ)Younes Mujahid, vice President of the IFJ, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Moroccan Press UnionAbed Al-Nasser Al-Najjar, President of the PJSMr. Younes Mujahid from entering the West Bank reveals the bad faith and intentions of Israel as the an occupying zionist entity, which misleads the whole world by claiming a “new start” of political negotiations with the Palestinians while in fact it uses those “negotiations” to legitimize and extend the duration of the zionist occupation of Palestine. The Palestinian Journalists Union (PJS) and the IFJ released a joint statement in which they condemn the Israeli decision of preventing them from entering Gaza and denying Mr. Younes M’Jahed, IFJ senior vice president and president of the Moroccan Press Union, from entering the occupied West Bank to participate in the work of the IFJ mission.

Following the failure of the Israeli occupation authorities to allow the European IFJ Journalists mission to enter Gaza, the security forces of Hamas prevented the Palestinian journalists from participating in a video conference held in Ramallah with the President of IFJ Jim Boumelha and the delegation with him.

According to the IFJ report published on their website, the IFJ mission to Palestine started a four-day visit to the occupied West Bank at the invitation of its affiliate, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS). The aim of the mission was to meet the newly elected leadership of the PJS and to investigate the continuing consequences of the Israeli occupation and the blockade of Gaza and East Jerusalem on the work of all journalists and media workers, and its impact on their safety, and to identify actions to ameliorate the problems of freedom of movement of the journalists in the region.

IFJ President Mr. Boumelha said: “It is unacceptable to the world community of journalists that Israeli soldiers continue to attack Palestinian journalists in total impunity”. He added: “The PJS has monitored 60 cases of attacks in the last three months. This is getting out of control and must stop immediately. As the occupying power, Israeli civilian and military authorities must discipline and prosecute soldiers who are guilty of violence against journalists”.

It should be noted that Israel did not win the last elections of IFJ World Congress in Cadiz, Spain and Athens which was held on 25-28 May 2010 in which the Palestinian Journalists Union won a membership of IFJ. There are signs that the troubles caused by the occupation to this IFJ delegation are in revenge for israel losing in these elections against the Palestinian delegation.

Pages From The History Of Dictators

Pages From The History Of Dictators

Shmuel Hollander is the current (2010) Israeli civil service commissioner, a former cabinet secretary under Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, until after the elections of 1996.

Hollander is a lawyer by profession. Hollander studied law at the Hebrew University, graduating in 1970, but he practiced something else and implemented the military laws in his position as a major of the IDF between 1970 – 1973 . Some inhuman laws of the Othman Empire still exist ONLY in Israel and are implemented ONLY against Palestinians due to his work.

Hollander is a currently retired IDF soldier. He was a military prosecutor and a judge commander, this means that Hollander had knowledge of the IDF crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories, and that he defended and covered them up.

Hollander had over the years in various legal counsel positions:

From 1973 – 1985, Hollander served as deputy attorney general office state comptroller.

From 1982 – 1984, he served as a representative of the Jewish Agency in the United States.
From 1986 – 1992, Hollander served as general counsel of the Civil Service Commission.
From 1992 – 1994, he served as legal advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Hollander was born on August 2 1946 in Czechoslovakia. He immigrated to Israel in 1949.

On November 1 1996 Hollander was appointed Civil Service Commissioner, a position in which he serves to this day, August 2010.

Hollander posted many zionists settlers in their civil posts at the so called civil administration, a branch of the IDF central command in the occupied territories. These extremists were David Kishik. engaged by temporary contract but Hollander turned them into permanent ones. For example David Kishik, a zionist squatter from the Kochav Hashar squatter colony who is the son of former prostitute Shula Cohen, a criminal and thieve who was involved in various corruption stories involving the looting the civil administration budget, issuing licenses for the establishment of stone crushing plants in the occupied territories in return for his mother and his wife to be partners in these projects.

David Kishik received his post with the help of Hollander. Strictly according to law, these projects implemented with the help of Hollander constitute plunder, thus Hollander is culpable and liable to prosecution for war crimes. See more documents about David Kishik.

Hollander was supposed to step down from his position, but his tenure was extended for four months. Hollander is married and has four children.

On August 23 2010, I sent Hollander a letter about Daniel Seaman, a dictator who I was forced to meet during my work as journalist in Palestine. My memories about Seaman are full of tragedies and crimes committed by this dictator against the Palestinian foreign journalists. Those crimes are still etched in my mind just as if they had happened yesterday. The first of August 2010 was the beginning of my eighth years in the exile. On this unhappy anniversary which reminds me of the brutal Daniel Seaman, the IDF criminal soldiers and the Israeli occupation. See more documents. Below is my letter.

August 23, 2010

To: Shmuel Hollander, Office of the Civil Service, 3 Kaplan Street, Street, Jerusalem Kirya, Zip 91340

From: Kawther Salam

Subject: Daniel “Danny” Seaman, director of the Israeli Government Press Office (GPO).

Hello Mr. Hollander,

I am writing to you in reference of Daniel Seaman, director of the Government Press Office and responsible for uncounted violations of the principles of journalism, infringement on the freedom of movement and work of many colleagues. Seaman continually misused his position and the political situation to take “revenge” against Palestinian journalists in order to satisfy his hatred born out of bigotry, petty vindictiveness against people who could not defend themselves. I am one of his many victims.

In addition to his well-known continued mistreatment, abuse and slurs against Palestinian and foreign journalists, it is also suspected that Seaman might have had a direct role by way of incitement in the shootings of various colleagues as well as of human rights workers from abroad who were working in Palestine, among them are Fadel Shana, James Miller, Nazih Darwazeh, Raffaele Ciriello, and many others.

In my own case, Seaman misused his position as a director of the GPO to threaten and insult me, accusing as of being a “hostile journalist”, refusing to renew my press card and informing the extremists jewish squatters and the IDF soldiers about this and demanding that they prevent me from going after my work in my homeland Hebron under the Israeli occupation, that they end my journalistic work in Israel and Palestine, dragging me into shameless fight, legal confrontation and creating an atmosphere of hostile international public opinion against the Israel.

The details of this story are rooted in the year 2001, when Mr. Seaman refused the renewal of GPO Form.my permanent GPO press card number 120097. I was at that time a reporter in the occupied territories and Israel working with the Israeli newspaper Al-Ittihad in Haifa, and the Sunday Tribune in Ireland.

On November 5 2001 I met Seaman in his office and asked him to give me the form for applying for the renewal of my Press Card which would lapse at the end of 2001. Instead to give the GPO form, Seaman went into a shocking tirade, confronting me very aggressively with foul and abusive language, and ending his freak-out by throwing me out of his office and accusing me of “working with hostile media”. (Click on the pictures to see them bigger).

Seaman told me that he had received a letter from the “settlers”, criminal jewish squatters who live in my homeland Hebron where they demanded that he end my GPO press card. Seaman also told me that the IDF soldiers did not like my journalistic work in Hebron and that he would not give me a form for renewing my press card.

Seaman also told me that I was “a journalist who wants to use the GPO card as a pass for free From Lea Tsemel to the GPO.From the GPO to Lea Tsemel. movement in Hebron and Israel in order to report in hostile media”, and that he wouldn’t allow that. When I tried to clarify my position and defend myself, Seaman went into a tirade accusing me of being a hostile journalist and describing me, in his own words as “חצוף” and an “enemy of the IDF soldiers and the Jewish community” and insisting that I should not forget that “he is a colonel and a soldier and he would not allow me to harm the IDF with my hostile journalism”.

Seaman was not right in his accusations. I have worked as a journalist since 1984; I never had security problems with Israel. In my family there was and still there is nobody involved in any way in politics or belongs to any political faction. As a journalist as well as personally, I worked hard to support the peace process and to defend the human rights of everybody.

In 2001 I found a jewish child lost in a Palestinian neighborhood in Hebron which was under intensive curfew, and I returned the child to the jewish squatter colony Avraham Avino, to same settlers who had several times stoned me and broken my cameras.

In January 2002 I published an appeal to Israel for the renewal of my Press Card in the Irish Times newspaper in Dublin. Mr. Aidan White, the Secretary General of the International Federation of Journalist (IFJ) also appealed to the Israel government for the renewal of my card. Lea Tsemel, an Israeli lawyer, wrote to the GPO on my behalf about the renewal form for my press card.

Dr. Fawaz Kamal. On March 6 2002 I was able to fill the form to apply for a renewal of my press card at the office of Dr. Fawaz Kamal, the director of the Arabic department at the GPO office. Mr. Kamal told me in a friendly way that Seaman would never renew my press card. He added that Seaman is a stubborn man and that I had put my head against his head. He blamed me for reporting about this issue in the international media (the Irish Times) and claiming that Seaman would insists in challenging me.

In February 2002, Seaman threatened to arrest me if I was seen visiting the GPO to ask about my press card. He said that I would be “the last journalist in the world whose press card he would renew” and he topped that with personal insults, curses and other more than impolite suggestions. He said that “the terrorists who I deal with should help me to work without the GPO”. He added that “Israel does not need to see terrorist journalists”. He recommended me to never to call him again because he was sure that the intelligence “Shin Beit” would not approve the renewal my press card. Actually Seaman himself was the person who provided the Shin Beit with negative information against journalists.

Seaman informed the IDF spokesperson and the jewish squatters about his refusal to renew my A letter from Al-Ittihad, an Israeli-Arab newspaper.press card. He caused me security problems, trouble with the IDF soldiers and the squatters. The soldiers expelled me from my house in Hebron. Due to his intervention I was victim of all kind of harassment at the hands of the IDF soldiers and the criminal squatters, and I lost my work as a journalist in the occupied territories and Israel, I lost my house, I live as a refugee in Europe far away from my beloved family, friends and my homeland.

In April 2002 Seaman cursed me in front of Mr. Joe Stritch, a jewish editor who worked with the AFP. He told him that he hated to hear my name and anybody asking him about me. Joe said that Seaman raised his voice and spoke in an angry tone to him. He said that Seaman described me as a “bitch” when Joe interceded in my favour to give me a temporary press card. Joe added that he felt that Seaman hated me very much: Seaman had stated that he wished me “a disaster”. Strich asked Seaman to give me a temporary GPO permit to help him to cover the IDF invasion and massacre of Jenin.

I have decided to submit this open letter to your office not because I need August 21 2010. Wienanything from the GPO after eight years of living in the exile, but because I still suffer deeply of the mistreatment by Seaman, his obscene and foul language, the filthy words with which he accused me of terrorism and hostile work, ending my journalistic work in my homeland and inciting the IDF soldiers against me. Seaman misused his power as director of the GPO not only against me, but also to threaten many other journalists from foreign media and causing big damages on every level.

I ask you to open all the correspondence between the office of Seaman and my Daniel seaman, GPO director.previous lawyer, so you can see for yourself how he comported himself in my case. I would also ask you to judge each and every word which I have written and which could be described from your point of view as “hostile” to Israel, to the account of Seaman. Each word I have published during the last eight years of living in the exile, far away from my homeland and my family, go back directly to Seaman. While I used to work on stories of mostly local interest when I lived in Palestine, today I write mostly of the issue and problem which Israel represents to everybody, not only Palestinians. This change in my work was brought on you by Seaman, it was not of my own accord that I changed how and what I write about.

Seaman with his bigotry and racist hatred has not only destroyed my life, but he succeeded in radically changing my views about Israel, about zionism and about jews at large. The years of exile have been a very educative experience, among other things they have shown me in all possible clarity that it is a supreme error to acquiesce to criminals or to let oneself be scared by bullies, or to remain silent in the face injustice.

Where I used to think that it would be in the best interest of everybody to strive for a peaceful co-existence, today I think that there is no possibility for any kind of peace with Israel because there is no will on side of the jews to any kind of just peace. Another important insight which I owe in the exile is that Israel has no true friends beyond the minority of criminals, sociopaths and corrupt politicians which exist in every society, and it is clear that Daniel Seaman would never allow somebody like me who at one point sincerely believed in peace with Israel, but who belongs to neither of these groups, to remain anywhere near Israel. Who will help Israel when these minorities are exposed and ousted from power everywhere? Not me and not anybody I know of.

Even where the actions of Daniel Seaman can not be qualified as outright criminal, his discharge of his duties as head of the GPO can be qualified as grossly irresponsible and incompetent. Not only in my case but with almost all Palestinian and foreign journalists, Seaman did everything possible to sow gratuitous conflict, to create enmities where none existed, to mistreat and insult people merely doing their job, to punish and abuse those who were in no position to defend themselves against his repeated outbreaks of pathological hatred.

Seaman more than anybody has contributed to destroy any semblance of a positive image which Israel could have had abroad in spite of the never ending criminal rampage against us Palestinians because of his ill will, his attempts at dictating to journalists what and how to report, his abuse of the “Press Card” into an instrument of coercion against any journalist or medium whom he didn’t like, and lets not forget the brain-dead attempts of the GPO to extend its censorship to the Internet or the stream of lies which ensued after the Mavi Marmara atrocity, they were products of Seaman’s GPO.

With Seaman, Israel has brutish and bloodthirsty thug in a position where such people are met with disdain, and his lack of acceptance among the people with whom he must deal on a daily basis, journalists, reflects in his demeanor and in his lacking achievements. Since Seaman has no provable successes to talk about in the exercise of his duties, he is forced to resort to increasingly uncouth and abusive behavior to silence critics.

I reserve the right to take legal action against Seaman in accordance wien, August 21 2010.with the provisions of national and international laws at the first opportunity which presents itself. On the account of Seaman are not only my own case and the cases of many other journalists, but also the suspicion of being involved in the murders of many exiled Palestinians throughout Europe, and on murder and state-sponsored terrorism there is no statute of limitations, anywhere.

Yours truly,

Kawther Salam

Who is Danny Seaman? Who is Daniel Seaman? Who is Dani Siman? Who is Danny Seaman the extremist colonel who works with both Right and Left-wing Israeli governments? What is the secret behind keeping Seaman in his position as the head of the Israeli press office GPO for over ten years?

Overall, the adjudication of civil and the military posts in Israel are based on staff changes every two years, three or four years maximum. The former directors of the GPO were changed by these usual changes which came with changes in the Israeli governments. But Seaman, who has proved to be the wrong person for the job and position which he occupies, who has offended Israel with his rude behavior while treating foreign journalists in an improper, brutal ways, is suspected of being involved in corruption for the benefit of the Likud Party, has been able to keep his post for more than ten years. Seaman, who caused me eight years of suffering of living in exile, appears to have much more power than anyone in the Israeli government who would like to get rid of him.

Only the Israeli “Shin Bet” and the Mossad know from where Seaman draws his strength, power and sources of support.

Only the Israeli “Shin Bet” and the Mossad know from where Seaman draws his strength, power and sources of support.

The first of August 2010 was the beginning of my eighth years in the exile. On this unhappy anniversary which reminds me of the brutal Daniel Seaman, the IDF criminal soldiers and the Israeli occupation, I write a letter to the director of the civil service in Israel reminding him of Seaman’s crimes against me and my colleagues.

In my own case, Seaman misused his position as a director of the GPO to threaten and insult me, accusing as of being a “hostile journalist”, refusing to renew my press card and informing the extremists jewish squatters and the IDF soldiers about this and demanding that they prevent me from going after my work in my homeland Hebron under the Israeli occupation, that they end my journalistic work in Israel and Palestine, dragging me into unnecessary confrontations and creating an atmosphere of hostile international public opinion against the Israel.

The details of this story are rooted in the year 2001, when Mr. Seaman refused the renewal of my permanent GPO press card number 120097.

Seaman also told me that I was “a journalist who wants to use the GPO card as a pass for free movement in Hebron and Israel in order to report in hostile media”, and that he wouldn’t allow that. When I tried to clarify my position and defend myself, Seaman went into a tirade accusing me of being a hostile journalist and describing me, in his own words as an “enemy of the IDF soldiers and the Jewish community” and insisting that I should not forget that “he is a colonel and a soldier and he would not allow me to harm the IDF with my hostile journalism”.

Seaman was not right in his accusations. I have worked as a journalist since 1984; I never had security problems with Israel. In my family there was and still there is nobody involved in any Aidan White, the General Secretary of the International Federation of Journalists, speaks to reporters upon his arrival in Baghdad January 4, 2008. Pic. Credit: Reuters -Thaier al-Sudani Iraqway in politics or belongs to any political faction.

Seaman informed the IDF spokesperson and the jewish squatters about his refusal to renew my Al-Ittihad letter to the GPO.press card.

I have decided to submit this open letter to your office not because I need anything from the GPO after eight years of living in the exile, but because I still suffer deeply of the mistreatment by Seaman, his obscene and foul language, the filthy words with which he accused me of terrorism and hostile work, ending my journalistic work in my homeland and inciting the IDF soldiers against me. Seaman misused his power as director of the GPO not only against me, but also to threaten many other journalists from foreign media and causing big damages on every level.

I ask you to open all the correspondence between the office of Seaman and my previous lawyer, The International Federation of Journalist letter which was sent to the Danny Siman.Lea Tsemel, so you can see for yourself how he comported himself in my case.

Where I used to think that it would be in the best interest of everybody to strive for a peaceful The Sunday Tribun letter which was sent to Daniel Seaman.co-existence, today I think that there is no possibility for any kind of peace with Israel because there is no will on side of the jews to any kind of just peace.

Even where the actions of Daniel Seaman can not be qualified as outright criminal, his discharge From Al-Ittihad, an Israeli-Arab newspaper.of his duties as head of the GPO can be qualified as grossly irresponsible and incompetent. With Seaman, Israel An exchangiong Fax between GPO and Lea Tsemel.has brutish and bloodthirsty thug in a position where such people are met with disdain, and his lack of acceptance among the people with whom he must deal on a daily basis, journalists, reflects in his demeanor and in his lacking achievements. Since Seaman has no provable successes to talk about in the exercise of his duties, he is forced to resort to increasingly uncouth and abusive behavior to silence critics.

I reserve the right to take legal action against Seaman in accordance with the provisions of national and international laws at the first opportunity which presents itself.

107 Israeli Crimes Against Palestinian Journalists

107 Israeli Crimes Against Palestinian Journalists

“Israel perpetrated 107 attacks and violations against Palestinian journalist’s rights since the start of 2010” said the secretary general and president of the Palestinian Journalist Syndicate (PJS), Professor Abed Al-Nasser Al-Najjar.

He stated that the Israeli attacks included beating the journalists, breaking their cameras, preventing them from covering events, shooting at them deliberately, arresting and jailing them, fabricating serious charges, fining them, imposing high financial fines before releasing them from detention, declaring the area of work of journalists as military zones, denying them the access to occupied Jerusalem.

Al-Najjar said that the last attack against the Palestinian journalists took place last week, after a number of journalists, among them people from Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya crews went to Ashdod to cover the crime of piracy of the Israeli commandos, in which they abducted the fleet of freedom and all those were on board. He added that the Israeli police have beaten up the Palestinian journalists and that they allowed dozens of armed extremist settlers to assault them and damage their cameras.

Al-Najjar added that a number of the journalists who went to Ashdod are Israeli citizens from occupied Jerusalem, and that they also hold the so-called (GPO) press card. However, they were attacked with all cruelty and brutality. He said: “The PJS members visited the office Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya in solidarity with them. We heard the full details of what happened in Ashdod and we documented the criminal attack. We submitted an urgent message to the International Federation of Journalist (IFJ) and to Makram Mohammad Ahmad, the secretary general of the Arab Federation of Journalists (AFJ), demanding them to take a firm stand against the Israeli crimes”.

Al-Najjar clarified that the PJS had asked the AJU to call their members for an emergency meeting in which they could discuss the possibility of filing complaints at the international courts against Israel.

Call for Protection of the Journalists on the Freedom Flotilla

Call for Protection of the Journalists on the Freedom Flotilla

The Palestinian Journalist Syndicate PJS and the International Federation of Journalists IFJ call for to the protection of the journalists participating on the Freedom Flotilla of the humanitarian aid-carrying ships, which were stormed and stopped by the Israeli war criminals. The Israelis have threatened to confiscate the films with which the Journalists documented the Israeli piracy act and the massacre perpetrated by their military boats and helicopters against civilians, killing at least twenty and wounding dozens.

The PJS directed letters to the international Journalists Unions demanding condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli massacre, and asked them to intervene to protect journalists who are victims of the Israeli oppression and crimes.

The PJS stated that the assault on journalists, peace activists and volunteers is an international crime of racism which should be denounced by the whole world. The world should break the silence on these violations and expose the policies of the racist extremists, the Israeli right-wing zionists and their crimes, which confirms the continued violation of international laws and legal precepts.

The PJS greeted and expressed its solidarity with all the satellite TV crews and the journalists from all newspapers of Arab and foreign media participating in the humanitarian flotilla, noting that their solidarity is respected by our nation and raises our morale while we suffer under the continued crimes, violations of humanity, indecency, and siege of the Israeli occupation.

On the other hand the International Federation of Palestinian journalists expressed its shock about the Israeli crime and said that there are journalists among the in a statement: “The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) today reacted with shock at the news of the brutal attacks on civilians, including journalists, by Israeli forces in the assault on a flotilla that yesterday tried to breach the military blockade of the Gaza coastline in Palestine.

The IFJ said that reports of casualties – including possible deaths of media staff – were unconfirmed and a curtain of secrecy drawn around the incident by the Israeli authorities was increasing anxiety among friends and relatives. The IFJ is calling for an urgent and comprehensive international investigation into the incident and for the information blackout to be lifted.

“We join the European Union in demanding a full inquiry which must be independent in order to be credible. We condemn any attempt at the blackout and censorship of news by the Israeli authorities which is hindering journalists from giving an accurate account of what is happening,” said Jim Boumelha, IFJ President.

The IFJ believes that 20 journalists and media staff from a number of different countries were on board when the attacks took place, according to Aidan White, IFJ General Secretary. He said the IFJ is fully investigating the incident and plans to raise the issue at a special meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council planned for Geneva on Wednesday. The IFJ is also writing today to the Israeli government warning them about their responsibility vis-à-vis the security of the journalists on the flotilla and is asking its member union in Israel to take the matter up with the authorities.

“The international community must respond immediately to this outrage,” said White. “The rights of journalists in conflict zones have been particularly highlighted by the United Nations and members states cannot stand by when one state acts in a reckless and dangerous manner.”

Notably, Al-Jazeera announced the names of their detainees on the Freedom Flotilla ship: Abbas Nasir, Osman Al-Betiary, Mohamed Fall, Ali Sabri, Andre Khalil, Jamal Al-Shayal, Essam Zaatar, Wasemah Ben Saleh. Al-Jazeera demanded that Israel release it’s journalists and cameramen and all the detainee journalists

Demands of Trials for Journalist Murders

Demands of Trials for Journalist Murders

“All the Journalist Unions should move from statements of solidarity with the Palestinian journalists to real actions and measures, as going to the international courts to try the Israeli officials who are responsible for horrific crimes and murders of Palestinian Journalists” stated the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate “PJS” delegation during the World Congress of the International Federation of Journalists “IFJ” “Journalism in Touch with the Future” which was held in Cadiz in Spain on May 25 2010. (Click on the pictures to make them bigger).

The conference was opened by the Vice-President of the government of Spain, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, and attended nearly by 300 delegates representing reporting and editorial staff from over 100 countries.

The delegation of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate “PJS”, included General Secretary Abed Al-Nasser Al-Naggar, his vice Yousef Al-Ustath, and Nabhan Khreisheh, the chairman of the PJS foreign relations committee. They spoke about the murders, horrible crimes and daily problems which the Palestinian journalists face under the Israeli occupation.

The delegation highlighted during it’s intervention about Israel’s crimes and the intentional assassinations directed against Palestinian journalists. The delegation raised the image of the Palestinian journalist Fadel Shana, who was killed two years ago by an Israeli tank shell while he was in the performance of his journalistic duties.

The PJS demands were met with huge sympathy inside the conference hall. The attendants warmly applauded the delegation.

The IFJ Congress was held in Spain as it coincides with celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Cadiz and the adoption of the first freedom of press law in Spain, which was adopted in 1810.

The attendants of the congress were confronted with the full range of massive problems facing the media industry and journalists, including threats of death and violence, governmental interference, the crisis of confidence in traditional media and markets which are hit by the impact of the Internet, and growing demands from within the community of journalists for action to defend ethical and professional standards.

According to IFJ information published on their website, the Spanish deputy Prime Minister, Teresa Fernandez de la Vega, told the world’s largest group of journalist leaders meeting for the World Congress of the IFJ in Cadiz, that decisions to be taken about the future of media and journalism will have an impact on the future of democracy. She said: “”Whatever the future brings, the press will remain the pillar of democracy”. She told the attendants of the IFJ conference ”We are nearer to having an informed citizenry than never before thanks to media.”

Jim Boumelha, President of the IFJ, told delegates at the Congress that the IFJ represents a powerful voice for journalists and has grown into a global organization fit for journalism in the modern world. He said: “The IFJ has proved we can work globally and in unison in defense of journalists’ rights”; he added “the reaction to the unprecedented massacre of journalists in the Philippines and campaigns to defend journalists in Iran and the Gambia are cases in point.” He praised to the courage of journalists who are leading the fight back against attacks on press freedom around the world and said their voices needed to be heard.

Aidan White, IFJ General Secretary, said that journalism is separating from media as the past role of publishers as radical social reformers is fading. He added: “Publishers of traditional news media are now systematically abandoning fundamental principles of independent journalism and are cutting jobs, stopping investigative journalism, ceasing training and adopting business models based on the opposite of ethical journalism. If publishers and media owners continue in this direction, they will forfeit their role as defenders of news freedom and lose the justification for a special place in society” warned the IFJ general secretary.

Asia-Pacific Journalists Demand US Explain Media Killings in Iraq

April 8 Day of Remembrance - Journalists and media workers from media organisations across the Asia-Pacific region join the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) in commemorating the seven-year anniversary of two attacks by the United States in Iraq which resulted in the deaths of several journalists. (See PDF)

On April 8, 2003, an attack by US forces on Baghdad’s Palestine Hotel killed José Couso, of Spain’s Telecinco and Taras Protsyuk, a Ukrainian cameraman working for Reuters. The hotel has long been known for hosting foreign journalists.

On the same day, US forces attacked the offices of the Al Jazeera broadcaster in Baghdad, killing reporter Tareq Ayyoub.

The IFJ and other press freedom groups, including the Committee to Protect Journalists in New York, examined the Pentagon’s November 2004 report on the attack on the Palestine Hotel, concluding it was flawed and unconvincing.

The IFJ calls on US President Barack Obama to now set up a thorough inquiry, in the spirit of his stated vision of hope for peace and stability in Iraq.

This year’s April 8 anniversary coincides with publication by Wikileaks on April 5 of a video which reportedly portrays a US military helicopter in July 2007 opening fire on and killing civilians in Baghdad, among them Reuters photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen and driver Sameed Chmagh.

Reuters has repeatedly requested this US military footage under US freedom of information laws, to no avail. The footage can be seen at the following link: http://www.collateralmurder.com/

Today, the IFJ and its affiliates are writing to President Obama requesting that his administration take responsibility to explain the 2003 and 2007 attacks, especially to the families and colleagues of the victims.

In 2006, the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 1738, which calls on governments to protect journalists and media personnel working in situations of war and conflict, in accordance with their civilian status.

At the most recent meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva last month, the IFJ alongside Article 19 and the International News Safety Institute (INSI) welcomed a draft resolution on protection of journalists in situations of armed conflict.

The draft resolution recognises the “vital role played by the press in situations of armed conflict” and highlights “the large and increasing number of deaths and injuries among members of the press in armed conflict”.
